Plasticine Embrace

Hold me in the night as I sleep,
use your arm like a seatbelt
To keep me safe from harm,
To keep me close to you,
As our bodies mold together
like plasticine.
 
Speak to me as I fall asleep,
Of how you fell for me,
Of our times together past,
What's here and now,
What's yet to come..
 
So I may be with you in my sleeping.
 
Keep me safe within your embrace.
Sheild me from imaginary forces.
 
Watch over me sleeping to make sure I'm ok,
As you do in my waking.
 
Make sure I'm at peace before you drift away,
Then come and find me.
