Journey of Self

Turn inside and you will see,
all the things that make you be.
Some of them are good,
and send you on due course,
the other is the bad influences,
but you always have a choice!
If you could only see,
the potential in your eyes,
or realize the deeper thought,
hidden in your mind.
There are many deeds in life's course,
that take you on a journey.
Passion for life is all you seek,
so take my hand and you will see,
a place of tremendous beauty,
filled with love, honor and duty.
Let me back up and explain,
I don't intend to be inane.
Love is the first of three,
it should be given to each evenly.
Honor is something you should always stride,
never keep it buried inside,
wear it on your sleeve so proudly,
when others show it to you,
please don't doubt it!
Duty is something placed in me,
by good people who care and see,
I am not just lowly human,
I'll do my part and help them through it!
Look inside,
after all,
you will never let yourself fall.
