Pyramids Beginning's
Blocks of rock
Hard as stone
A solid stock
Stand all alone
Blanket of night
No effect on them
Seen farther than sight
Clearer than gem
Pillars so still
Color so sheik
In night's blanket til
The sun's dawning peak
Tall, stacked, and strong
Together as one
Making no song
No glimmer of fun
As labor begins in the sun

A very individual piece. I'm guessing in relation to the Egyptians and their hard work. I love this! You haven't written about the beauty of the pyramids themselves, but you have looked farther beyond that, and written about the labor that has been undergone to make such a beautiful pyramid. Thankou for sharing, and expressing to the world, that big and beautiful, comes from a tiny seed. :)

Thanks. This was really written with the jews when they were forced into slavery by the egyptians in mind, lol. I don't honestly know if they or the egyptians truly created the pyramids or not. :) I'm researching it.
