Elegy Stained On the Heart
The bell rings as daylight breaks
Crows fly overhead and watch us
Heartbreak is what it makes
Pain from forever lost trust
A black sheet is spread along the cold ground
The faces look so dull and dead
Sadness is all that is found
Goodbye is all that can be said
If only this feeling would just leave
This broken heart will mend
