cuckolds young and old
L|ET us charge on stick horses!
into the city afire
into the answerless blackness
we brats of the prancing revolting
we of the technocolor'd absence
went kissie-kiss down
in unspent clouds of nuclear neon
went keenly across the aftershock of chaos
warmed to the deconstruction and thee abscesses upon
the pale mare of remembrance .
she did gather
lips with pustular blisters
and went whistling together
in the mud that makes us love
eachother &
art as an ulcer
and thus in god we thrust her
upon the lap of exquisite vastness
/upon the heap of chivalrous innocence
(that silly frilly butterfly, s he)
upon the mock smock of sheer fear swaying precariously
vicariously here and here and there with a dash and dart for
exclamation invariably!
we mis-shapes in paper clothes and baby-faces
we aerial machines crash-landing wonderfully together
in the long lost streets of Lollywood, in the hills of Gotham,
and the volleys of exploding Babylon.
give me then, friend,
your trembling heart
and i'll show you
all the world giddily a'twitter.
