Just Another Day.

 Feel the burn of Vodka pour;
Feel the welcoming sting from the cigarette.

Tears leaking,
I told myself it wouldn't be like this anymore.
Fists bleeding,
I hold back the pain.

Watch as the dead dried leaves blow away.
Listen to the constant bickering,
Ears no longer able to deaf it out.

Loosing grip on reality,
Loosing grip on my sanity.

Lay back on the grass,
And wish for a miracle.

Taking after a monster,
Growing into something I no longer recognize.
Something I can't face in the dull eyes,
Reflecting back from the cracked mirror.

Smile at my beautiful girlfriend,
It's just another day.
