Alone In A Crowded Room
Alone in a crowded room
Seen and heard but ignored
Hateful whispers in my head
Always be a third wheel
To be chosen second is fate
Wrestling with self identity
Don't be too loud
You'll hurt him
Don't say that
You'll break her heart
Don't show affection
You'll offend them
How can I be me
When me seems to be
The furthest from what's desired
My appetites are wanton
My fantasies are craven
My needs unfulfilled
Because I can't give
What she so desperately desires
How can I be hers
When she doesn't listen

Play Me Like An Instrument
Play me like an instrument
Set me to vibrating
Under your masterful fingers
Hum rises from within
Touch drifting, stroking
The chord you touch
Resonates with your own
My soul sings your praises
As you make my body pulse
Playing the beat of my heart
Like a simple snare drum
Tattoo of ecstasy
Keening joins in
Moans and groans
In perfect harmony
With the way you say my name
Thundering tempo
As you draw me
to my crescendo
Shattering melodies
Soft strains of contentment
Set me to vibrating

It's Okay, I'm Used To It
It's okay, I'm used to it"
Has become the norm
Rolling over and taking it
To preserve this "peace"
Day after day it stays
The same old tired tune
Listening to the repetitive
Backstabbing every morning
Watching over exaggerated
Supposed pain once again
Acting content in my station
The one on the edge
The outskirts of love
My need being shunted aside
Hopes being raised one more
Only to suddenly dash upon
The cold hard face of reality
My exhausted mind seeking
What was there before
Where did you go ...

To Silence My Crowded Mind
Sweltering heat in the
Jungles of my broken mind
Round room with no door
Drowning in my madness
Gasping for assistance
Clawing at these padded walls
Voices overlapping inside
Murmurs barely heard
Skirmishes fought internally
My head a bloody battleground
Screams from the two
Controlling my fractured brain
Writhing in torment
Reaching desperately
For a hand to grasp as I fall
Fire skirts the edges
Of the ravaged depths
Within this shared consciousness
Constant disparaging remarks
Sarcasm dripping from every compliment...

Same Old Discussion
Why did you start this again
The same tired discussion
The one that makes me cry
That hardens my heart even more
Why can't we just spend time together...
Turning to you in joy
Only to see those puppy dog eyes
I want so badly to be what you need
I want desperately for you to be what I need
Yet we drift further and further apart
I don't know how to fix you
Broken pieces still scattered in your mind

Reflections of Adoration
I'll be your Goddess.
I'll be your love slave.
I'll be your warrior.
I'll be your princess.
I'll be your wall.
I'll be your shelter,
Your shoulder,
Your safe haven.
I'll be your anything....
So long as you're mine
And I need you.
I don't go a second of my day
Without a thought of you.
Without an ache
For your absence...
You are my life,
I can't possibly come close
To the beauty of your soul
The eloquence of your heart...
I need you more than my next breath

I Need You
Need is a basic word
It conveys so much
Through just those 4 letters
I've turned it over
Run it through my head
I've discarded it though
This is more than that
I hunger for you
A touch of your hand
The sound of your voice
The taste of your lips
Your body dancing with mine
I yearn for you
The calm steadiness
Your loving acceptance
Safety and security
Warmth and hope
I long for you
To be home with me
To fall into my arms
To say my name...
...just like that...
I obsess over you
See you in everything...

Delectable, mouth watering
Beautiful delight
How I moisten you
For my own pleasure
Smoothing down
Arranging perfection
Gaze becomes predatory
Anticipation rising
I draw my blade
Wielding with acute precision
At first slicing gently
Next sawing through
Single minded determination
Bisecting your insides
View with extreme satisfaction
I lift you up
To dine upon you
Juicy, delicious
My sandwich
