POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
in the clouds, writing.
Window
I made coffee and sat beside the window,
Not doing much at all on a fine, boring day.
I had no luck at work, tripped three times, but
As always, I still feel like I might give it a go.
The sun had risen earlier than scheduled;
I’m always flabbergasted by its magnificence.
It almost wraps the earth in gold—
Damn, the glorious light is just so priceless.
The sky is blue in the windy afternoon;
Kites soar smoothly before the coming monsoon,
And kids play, hopping around like zombies,
Realizing I’ve missed how beautiful...

Forgive Me
I wanted to live surrounded by trees,
So much green in the atmosphere,
Breathing in the dazzling breeze,
And sleeping for a lifetime of peace.
For once, that kind of life was so simple;
My dreams once traveled through ripples.
I opened my eyes and looked out the window—
Kids jumping in a pile, casting off sorrow.
Somehow, I blame my feelings on anything;
Maybe the weather isn’t to my liking.
Yet somehow, I feel the need to run and stop,
But a month of rest is no longer enough.
And they all want me to believe in...
So much green in the atmosphere,
Breathing in the dazzling breeze,
And sleeping for a lifetime of peace.
For once, that kind of life was so simple;
My dreams once traveled through ripples.
I opened my eyes and looked out the window—
Kids jumping in a pile, casting off sorrow.
Somehow, I blame my feelings on anything;
Maybe the weather isn’t to my liking.
Yet somehow, I feel the need to run and stop,
But a month of rest is no longer enough.
And they all want me to believe in...

Isolated
Been going outside—
To the park, groceries to buy some stuff,
Doing window shopping in the mall,
Trying on a dress I can’t afford.
Been drinking coffee
Beside the imposing glass wall,
Watching the rain create ripples,
Saying hi and sharing stories with strangers.
But it feels like I’m just in my room all day,
Staring at the ceiling, hearing my heartbeat,
Overthinking while listening to music,
Sitting in my darkest corners,
Praying that someone from the other side
Could break down my walls and
Tell me that I am...
To the park, groceries to buy some stuff,
Doing window shopping in the mall,
Trying on a dress I can’t afford.
Been drinking coffee
Beside the imposing glass wall,
Watching the rain create ripples,
Saying hi and sharing stories with strangers.
But it feels like I’m just in my room all day,
Staring at the ceiling, hearing my heartbeat,
Overthinking while listening to music,
Sitting in my darkest corners,
Praying that someone from the other side
Could break down my walls and
Tell me that I am...

In My Eyes
Can’t you see in my eyes
The only thing that I want?
Yet you still give me choices—
Live or live it all again.
Can’t you hear from my lips
The only thing I want to say?
Yet you still force me to choose—
Try or try it all again.
Can’t you see in my face
How tired I am from all this mess?
Yet you still drag me around to places—
Dance or run to the end.
I hope you see it in my eyes
That I am unfit for this world;
The rainbows have long died,
And the golden rays no longer reach me.
I hope you...
The only thing that I want?
Yet you still give me choices—
Live or live it all again.
Can’t you hear from my lips
The only thing I want to say?
Yet you still force me to choose—
Try or try it all again.
Can’t you see in my face
How tired I am from all this mess?
Yet you still drag me around to places—
Dance or run to the end.
I hope you see it in my eyes
That I am unfit for this world;
The rainbows have long died,
And the golden rays no longer reach me.
I hope you...

I Don't Really Belong Here
I don’t really belong here;
It’s not depression or anxiety anymore.
This is not my worry or fear,
Or my worst nightmare—
I don’t really belong here.
I can’t even accept
The fact that I’m alive,
Breathing, galloping through
Every second of my life.
I wish death could be by my side.
I can’t even accept
The idea of happiness;
My heart is struck with pain,
Repeating every single day.
You see, I don’t really belong here.
Whether you try to drag me around,
Show me places I’ve never found,
Make me...
It’s not depression or anxiety anymore.
This is not my worry or fear,
Or my worst nightmare—
I don’t really belong here.
I can’t even accept
The fact that I’m alive,
Breathing, galloping through
Every second of my life.
I wish death could be by my side.
I can’t even accept
The idea of happiness;
My heart is struck with pain,
Repeating every single day.
You see, I don’t really belong here.
Whether you try to drag me around,
Show me places I’ve never found,
Make me...

"Yes, I do"
So, why are you here?”
Her father asked.
“I wanted to give this to you.”
He replied and sat down.
Her father looked into it
The book of her daughter
And pauses, then said.
“You are getting married?”
It was an unbelievable surprise.
He was reluctant to say but he should
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
“Yes, with another girl.”
Her father asked.
“I wanted to give this to you.”
He replied and sat down.
Her father looked into it
The book of her daughter
And pauses, then said.
“You are getting married?”
It was an unbelievable surprise.
He was reluctant to say but he should

"You Are?"
I see you in the sky, the stars
And I trace the reasons of my scars.
The sun, moon and trees
I didn’t know anymore what you are to me.
And I trace the reasons of my scars.
The sun, moon and trees
I didn’t know anymore what you are to me.

CPU's Madness
My CPU can do instructions
Multi-tasking at the same time
My heart was chipped…
Upgraded latest technology
But no matter how fast the process
Can’t estimate the approximate
Of this heart’s madness…
Multi-tasking at the same time
My heart was chipped…
Upgraded latest technology
But no matter how fast the process
Can’t estimate the approximate
Of this heart’s madness…

...Rises
Prominence,
Fiery ashes of ionized gases
On her heart
Rises
Tens of thousand kilometers
Up.
Fiery ashes of ionized gases
On her heart
Rises
Tens of thousand kilometers
Up.

Beat
A stage without a crowd
A vacuum without a void
A book without a page
And here you are in my cage
Towards the direction of my seat
So listen now, to my heartbeat.
A vacuum without a void
A book without a page
And here you are in my cage
Towards the direction of my seat
So listen now, to my heartbeat.

Hands Tied
I wanted to get away from you in this wildest dream
But you can't let me go in this cruellest game.
And I always pull the chain around your neck for you to die
But I guess, we were only dancing with our hands tied.
But you can't let me go in this cruellest game.
And I always pull the chain around your neck for you to die
But I guess, we were only dancing with our hands tied.

Angel
Lay your body down on the green grass
And watch how the stars clash.
Yet so impossible and so unreal...
To believe that there's someone who feels,
And watches how your eyes reflects the blue sky.
And that's the angel who is always out there when you cry.
And watch how the stars clash.
Yet so impossible and so unreal...
To believe that there's someone who feels,
And watches how your eyes reflects the blue sky.
And that's the angel who is always out there when you cry.
