POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Black Mirror
Inside, tearing me down
Face the mirror, I lie.
White when I look away
And it’s really gone dark.
I cover the lights every time,
That’s not me.
Foot prints in grey,
You see me.
I wish I was cured.
Face the mirror, I lie.
White when I look away
And it’s really gone dark.
I cover the lights every time,
That’s not me.
Foot prints in grey,
You see me.
I wish I was cured.

Left At Sea
The ribbons that held us well,
So beautifully and clean,
Have now begun to fray.
The winds are strong tonight,
So I just wish you wouldn’t,
Go out and sail alone.
The dark ocean pierces me,
Ice water through my veins,
I’m scared my heart will stop.
I watch you row into the blue,
And cry in the dark.
for I now know, It’s closing time.
So beautifully and clean,
Have now begun to fray.
The winds are strong tonight,
So I just wish you wouldn’t,
Go out and sail alone.
The dark ocean pierces me,
Ice water through my veins,
I’m scared my heart will stop.
I watch you row into the blue,
And cry in the dark.
for I now know, It’s closing time.
