dig...
dig deeper..
dig past the hate...
past the love..
dig a little deeper..
to a place you refuse to go..
grab your emotions...
and just let it all go..
the pain...
the tears...
the suffering...
just pour your heart out
let it bleed with emotions
let it pump with feeling
that hole in the heart
let her see what's in it
on a journey
the memorable memories
that brings a smile to her face
thoughts you had
only savior to heal this black plague
feelings you still have
can't resist but to rekindled her lost...
dig deeper..

after an heated argument last night
never have I took the time
in saying I needed you
never had a chance to
to say the words
I needed to tell you
promises I've made
I've never follow through
vouched in changing in you
all I've ever done was just hurt you
couldn't even stand up
and just simply fight for you
I'm just a different person
than you once fell in love with
you looked up to me
yet I doubted you
always believed in me
yet I betrayed you
constantly arguing
who's wrong who's right
trying to prove a point
out of despite because

its easy saying I love you
difficult to make love work
harder to prove it
blinded to see how much your worth
because at times we crumble
too afraid to take a chance
worrying about what hasn't transpired yet
sometimes we forget to take a breath
taking the time to live in the moment
lost in the mind to feel alive again
too afraid to make mistakes
calling it quits because what is at stake
high risk high reward has always been the motto
looking in all the wrong places

A hole in the Heart
A hole in the heart
it bleeds slow
leaving a trail
trail of tears
painful memories
I had to hear
pain and agony
what kills me slowly
like a nightmare
it never ends
constantly replaying
over and over again
fear consumes me
from a believer to a doubter
no faith
no glory
just living in a make belief story
the light is fading
life seems dull
when my heart beats
it beats with no feeling
no rhythm
no sound
its breaking apart
even with the right pieces
it will never fit
my soul is dripping...

The Sailor
A sailor on a voyage sailed the deep sea
in searching for the woman from his dream
countless days and nights the sailor had spent
chasing the sweet essence scent
with the waves carrying him forward
telescope at hand looking out
seeking for his lost soul mate
months and months has gone by
voyaging underneath the dark sky
mother nature foreshadowed
that love was in disguise
with the thunder and lighting striking
the sailor had waited out the storm
by writing letters of his journey
in searching for lost love
storm has cleared...
in searching for the woman from his dream

A Broken Heart
Just close your eyes....
Clear your thoughts....
And listen....
Listen closely to the pain in my voice....
The method of choice with words I chosed to use...
slowly unraveled breaking the chains that weighed heavily on my heart....

A Confession
I've taken a break from writing
to reevaluate the confidence I once had in me
in my later writings I lost
passion to write with true feelings
forcing feelings that didn't fit
rather than speaking from my own experience
because I only started writing to release the stress
I had with every poem written
over the years was me leaking emotions
never realizing I was transforming them into a positive message
from the negative energy that was bottled up in me
ended up being related events from people
that been in the same situation ...

in my later writings I lost

I made it back
All mixed up,
Wondering where to begin,
My story is true,
It comes from the heart within.
So listen closely for you and I both know,
Someone may come to mind, the one we feared most that makes all our tears flow,
Looking in the mirror, who do we see,
An imitation of fools and jokers, and liers at that or a person we knew and could once again be.
Life is a mystery we must all solve,
It must be youself first, most definitely of all,
One way out people seem to choose,
Giving up before life started,
If only you wanted to ...

We live our lives our way,
even though things aren't the same,
Higher and higher flies the white dove,
only to enhance your given love,
so rest on my wing and soar with me,
Destiny is ours for only us to see,
I'll take you down secure and free,
Life is waiting for just you and me,
My love Is giving so take it and hold,
Wrap my wings around I'll shelter out the cold,
Happiness and joy is what we seek,
Following the light is all we'll need,
Trust and honesty what we share, ...
even though things aren't the same,

Dear Mom,
Dear Mom,
Never taught me how to be a man
Some thing's I may not understand;
Yet you’ve paved the way to my heart
Teaching me to love & nurtured others.
The world maybe collapsing telling me it’s impossible;
But the love you provided has made everything seem possible.
Living through tough times, learning that I can’t hate someone
For trying, but at times it’s necessary to lie to
protect the one’s you love.
When is seems like the sky is falling,
You tell me...

Dreaming a Reality
Dreaming a Reality
I'm just a man walking in the streets,
like a vivid dream can't listen nor speak,
watching reality sink in the ocean's deep,
cold war expose the weaks, the hearts weakest links,
color seems faded, life seems dull, head above water barely breathing,
character tells a story by the struggle you've been through
but faster you struggle, faster you sink like quick sand but keep believing,
I'm just a man walking in the streets
no emotion, heart not beating, wishing to wake up
nightmare continues portraying as if I'm still awake,...

last year
Summer of 2011 was the worst time for me,
My whole life almost snatched away from me,
From my ex, surgery, dad, aunt, and even my son no clue if "existed"
choices I made, I've looked backed and witnessed what was done
My love, Best friend only person that knew me,
My decisions karma visited me, misery spoke to me,
Secrets, oaths, going to use that against me?
Told me he once lived, then sit there lying to me?!
Man enough to say I tried to fix it, admitted my mistakes,
Took me months to get over you, fixing the inevitable
In the end just...
