Will I ever be happy?  This I don’t know,
I’ve spent my whole life putting on a show.
Trying to be someone I don’t even know,

Now that fucking blows for me.
For just one day I wish you could see what I see.
Would you be able to just let it be?
Or would you hate just like me?

I’ve never had a choice in this matter.
I’m pretty mad – have never been sadder.
I’m climbing a never-ending ladder…

I just can’t get where I need to go.
I don’t even know if I have any hope.
I wish I could untie the noose on this rope.
