words are the stains on white sheets lines are the scratches i leave on his back verses form when lips touch lips full of the beat of my pulse i gave you my heart like a library book

there are words that crawl about
inside me
scientific words like
neurological impulses or
cardiovascular
they own no emotion
then there’s other words
like when you’re inside me
and i come
fuck comes too to
scrabble about deeply through
my body
turning feral
runs riot with my pulse
as it make’s it’s way up
through my heart
to ignite
a warmth that shivers
and i gasp
oh fuck i love you
there it is
it’s escaped out my mouth
in the chaos
of frantic breaths ...
