Confusion
It is when time stagnates and the air gets heavy
that nonsense becomes master of my mind
I try my best to keep it steady
I then attempt to wiggle myself out of the bind
Confusion is my ordeal
As I navigate through this fascinating voyage called existence
I travel through a myriad of obscure challenges
I can say without a doubt that my goals are at a distance
fate presents no opportunity, and very little advantages

I was told
I was told it is rather hot where the souls go to rest
Where the eternal human lives in isolation
Where the insurrections are common and the oppression is law
I was told it is fairly blazing where the minds are not blessed
Where my people meet eternal damnation
Where the heathen, pagan and sceptic pull their last straw
I was told it is mighty scorching where life is transgressed
Where the fire is dancing around the last creation
Where no one in my crew can freely withdraw
I was told it is sizzling in the devil’s nest ...

My America
Land of the free, the proud and the mighty brave
Land of that one big step for mankind
Land of the pizza pie, the sundae and the patty
Land of the blue note and the jazz band
Land of the strip club and the dance hall
Land of the echoing dreams of the prestigious artist

It’s that thing, you know!
That repulsive rhapsody you pretend you don’t hear
the news that brings you to your knees, or so it tries
That unrealistic illness, or is it really?
A concerto of capricious organism with a big ego
that inhabits your being without proper invitation
An invasive entity squatting me
unlawfully occupying my beloved space
A vicious symphony ready for a carnage
Armed with relentless despicable minions
Aiming to wreak havoc in my temple
Seeking a leading place at the altar

Them
Them
Some dance, some sleep.
No specific reason for them to be alive, but strangely an abundance of these superstitious creatures have yet to fulfill the prophecy. The undefined nature of our existence is an adventure. I say – our - I am them. I am a creature, a member of a non-homogenous group of a particularly obscure lineage.

Some reach for the righteous, some worship the villain.
Those, who with great uncertainty float in this nebulous world oppressed by the ravage, the savage rulers bestow upon them. With virtual impunity, the...

I tell you fellow

I ramble with you in my lucid mind
When the idea comes through
And with your silence you address me
They say you’re utterly kind
You understand my verity and my view
And you came to set me free
I don’t wear a mask, I will not be blind

When strange things are over, knowledge is the key

with some raggedy folks sitting by you
You shared your potion and meal with thee

Few Cold Beers
Headed to the tavern with a mind full of ideas and pockets full of coins
Nothing too thrilling, just an ordinary trip to the brewery
Meeting with old friends, drinking mates and brothers at heart
Making my way through the narrow streets of this township
Thinking about what may come from our encounter
A few cold beers with Marty and Hoop, my buddies, my comrades
Changing the world must be at the menu
What a revelation, we must be onto something
A bit of sarcasm never hurts a mortal
A healthy dose of screwed up ideas is needed to get this...

A cook with a quest to make a deadly stew
This dark druid will make you beg for relief
A warrior with no reason to hide
A massive crowd laying at his claws
