Web of Time
You keep telling yourself
You're gonna get hurt
Get caught in a web of time
Two people trying to free themselves.
One trying to recapture lost youth
The other trying to escape their reality
They are of different times
A common soul, trapped in the web of time
Time separated them long ago before they were apart
And will continue to do so
But time is not a straight line from beginning to end
it is a web of interconnected moments,
Though appearing seemingly random,
Moments are organized beyond our perception. ...

The Epic Novel
Your life is an epic novel
With you as the Hero of the story
Who is put forth to not only fight the good fight,
But battle the inner demons of criticism, self-doubt, and fear.
With surprises along the way,
You the Hero must determine your responses
To the challenges of everyday life,
Its trials, and tribulations.
Many times the enemy is unknown,
But its presence is felt through moments of trepidation,
You just know something is not right.
Does the Hero push forward or settle for what is?

Forever One
Ten years we have been,
Ten Christmas's we have past,
Together we have grown,
Individuals we have become.
The time has come to re-unite,
Let us turn to each other,
Cast our inner doubts,
Bring forward our Love,
Make our lives One again.
Our family is complete,
Our lives but beginning,
Together our destiny awaits,
How we get there is unknown...

Summer's Gone
Did I ever tell you the story of how Summer and I broke up?
Well, here it is then...
So, when I woke up that cloudy morning, Summer's bags were packed.
I asked, "Where you going Summer?"
"I'm leaving you. I'm taking all my things too,
The Sun,
The Sunsets,
The Heat,
The long days,
All of it."
"I see." I replied. "But why?"
"I'm done here, I'm done with you!"
"But, I need you."
"Our time together has come to an end, I hope someday you will understand.
You've changed - I saw you...
Well, here it is then...

Now You Know
What is in the air, I do not know
It lurked in the shadows when we met.
We walked away
Knowing what might have been
Knowing what it must not be
Cause if it ever did
Passion's peril would be unleashed.
A triangle it is
I know what I know
You may already know
She must never know.
Caution to those who proceed
For friendships would be at stake
Where before there was no danger
Now this new relation threatens one maybe more.
A friend has already been lost, another may go
Its is the price to pay for...

Do you believe in Fate?
That there is a master plan for you?
Where your ultimate destiny is inevitable,
Unbeknownst to you?
Do you think that you have complete control over your life and actions?
That each choice you make sets your life's path?
A mostly random set of choices based on a self-determined goal,
And in the end, that is all there is?
Quite the extremes - don't we suppose?
But, what if it was a combination of both beliefs?
Where Fate is merrily there to guide and provide opportunity?

Just Looking For My Imbalance
Is life about finding balance,
Or embracing the imbalance of life? - Love.
We may want to find balance in life,
But love is not a balanced state of being.
Being In Love takes your Life out of balance.
The more intense your passions and desires,
The greater the imbalance becomes.
It makes you re-evaluate everything.
It changes your priorities.
Questions who you are as a person.
It consumes you.
Where is the balance in that?
Why do we even need to balance anything?
Life is not balanced. ...

Feelings
We all need to feel something,
As humans we are made to feel
That is why we are alive
We live to feel.
Unfortunately not all feelings are good or welcomed,
Some we have no control over,
And hurt at so many levels
We wish them away...
Other feelings are wonderful and most desired,
We cultivate them,
And want them to grow,
As they bring us a sense of euphoria and well being.
Regardless of the feelings we are experiencing,
We must know that they will not last forever,
They come,
We feel and experience...

One day a scorpion came upon a beautiful Princess who's beauty was undenied. She had rejected him in the past due to life's complications and she knew he was trouble.
However, the scorpion believed there was something special between them...
"Would you like to be my girl?", the Scorpion asked the Princess.
"Never Never Never, because you will hurt me" replied the Princess.

T'was the Night for Christmas Yoga
T'was the night for Yoga, when all thro' the studio,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a crow;
The mats were laid on the floor with care,
In hopes that Yogi-Guru would soon be there;
The yogis where resting all calm on their mats,
While feelings of love and peace spreading with every breath,
And Jade in her lulu's, and I in my shorts,
Had just settled our minds for our vinyasa practice.
When out in reception all eyes were on the clocks,
I sprang from my mat to pick up my two blocks.
Away to the window I flew like an...

I Am All There Is
I take a deep breath
Followed by another,
My eyes closed
Waiting for the light
Within the darkness
To reveal itself.
The light does not always appear
Sometimes it is but a soft glow,
I chase the glow,
Like looking for shapes within clouds,
Waiting... Hoping... Wishing...
That The Way will be revealed.
I may not be ready to receive,
So, quietly, patiently, I sit in stillness
Breathing... Searching... Seeking...
The truth is within me,
That, I know is certain....
Followed by another,
My eyes closed
