My Turn
Sinking into a place I don't belong,
With nothing left to say.
Just being strong,
Isn't enough to make it through the day.
Someone please see,
I'm reaching out with all that's left inside.
Someone please save me,
Save this pathetic life.
Why can't they hear me scream?,
Why can't they see me cry?
I'm wishing it all was just a dream,
Just waiting till it's my turn to die.

why do i stay here

You Were
You were my friend,
The kind that was supposed to stay.
I wish I couldn't remember,
What you told me that day.
When you were around,
You comforted me when I cried.
And the day you left,
Half of me up and died.
We sat and laughed,
Got mad and cried.
That's why my heart broke,
When you said " Good-bye".
The feelings that were there,
Aren't anymore.
My mind races everyday,
Trying to make sense of what happend to us.
I love you just as I,
Want you to love me, too.
Before you left,

Hazzy
it starts out as a little sip
to ease my pain
then it gets to be half a bottle
just to make it through the day
i go to school
and my mind is gone
cause im full of liquid courage
just to feel strong
im no longer me
the drinks have got hold of my control
i cant stop
im on an inevitable role
i wish i could go back
to how it used to be
but with how this world is
im hazzy on who is the real me
to ease my pain
then it gets to be half a bottle

mom came home
and began to drink
from her stash below the sink
then she became angry
overcome by the boose
her mind was beginning to come loose
she found me hiding
under the bed
so she kicked me in my head
my head was ringing
and i began to cry
as blood slid down beside my eye
then she passed out
and i was left alone
in this broken place i call home

Better
She smiles with all she has left,
Yet tears are left un-dried.
And though she's got so much to say,
She bottles it up inside.
She's afraid to get to close,
Because of all the times she has been hurt.
Everyone saying they care,
Then they leave her alone in the dirt.
She tries the best she can,
To keep herself together.
With people so cruel,
It's hard to feel better.

When I see you,
My body goes numb.
When I hear your voice,
I have to catch my breath.
When holding your hand,
I feel at ease.
When I look into your eyes,
My heart melts.
When we're together,
I feel as though I'm flying.
When we're apart,
I'm falling and I can't stop.
When you're not around,
I feel alone.
When you're lying next to me,
There's nowhere else I rather be.
When you're in my arms,
I get lost in your warmth.
When you smile,
I get butterflies.
When you kiss me,
I feel something I've never felt before....

Sad Life
Beaten,
Neglected,
And abused,
She doesn't have that much to lose.
Frightened,
Scared,
Been pushed aside,
Left alone just to cry.
Broken,
Shattered,
And so torn,
Wishing that she'd never been born.
Sad,
Upset,
And full of sorrow,
Awaiting the horrors of tomorrow.
