It's Simply Okay.
I remind myself that I was cultivated a loving being
That I can love many beings at one time
There is no authority passed convention
Of which I then especially ignore
That may put upon me the guilt
Or shame
That comes forth in this world
When love extends.

Dreaming for Some Reason.
I dreamt of him
I dreamt of you
Now
It's been three
A rarity
But lately
They are almost expected
And so
I cannot sleep
Last time I swear I felt your skin
So soft
Cupped in between my hands
Before
You laid out of reach
All I could do
Was watch you sleep
And the first
The first dream he was crying
Asking why
And how many times
How many people
And I cared not enough
To answer.
I dreamt of you
Now

I don't want to resent, nor live my life blaming you for any turmoil my character may cause in my now peaceful life. My frustrations, as they should, have come from things I have done, but also from things those who have loved me have done. You have to understand control is all one wishes to claim in this life, even though intemperance is inherent from the moment we open our eyes for the first time and fight the very air filling our lungs with a cry of pain. It is here in this forced existence that one would realize, if they could of course, that control is but an illusion. I have not had it...

Confidence peaks through the oppression meant to silence excited recountings of your day
Colorful and exuberant is the sway of your gait which I follow against better thought
The message may look feminine but is sharply cut by the intent behind your tongue
Uncaring or unaware of reaction
With no passivity in the pursuit of what you desire
I stand before you asking a question.

I hear small drops plunging into a cavernous well
The air is thick here
Rocks run cold under my hand
I call your name
Feeling the way through this new land
Father death has not shown
It gives me hope
I hear a small moan
