Can You Imagine...
.. If we realized the collective hive mind is what works
If the pions walked out and refused to work
Can you imagine all the nurses just refusing to go
Sighing back at the smoke as they burn their oaths
If no one manned the beds that demand the presence of hands
Then the billionaires that starve them would be able to understand
How can ones discontent fall upon those of the land
It stirs within their house, yet it is up to you to take a stand
And all of your kin
But who wants to be the leader against the man
Who will follow...

Another Step Towards Ruin
Eviction ban...
Is just another step
Towards small renters losing their houses
Towards more homelessness
It's not big companies that will fail
It is the everyday man
Who decided to invest
And retire on that income
Welcome to Cuba folks
They won't be taking the houses by force
No, not this time
But through legislation
How is it my job
Or any renters'

Does it?

I take the night shift to watch over his slumber
Only go out if I need something at an odd hour
Like everyone, my necessities deplete
For which I have delivery services
My weekly needs come to me
At the drop of a feather
If it was not meant to fall
I wake
Impossible to get any sleep at all
If it isn't the night terrors
Or the creaking of an old house...
Rest is the only dream I cant live without
I know all the exits
Every face in a room
What they are...

Binding and strangling

Uncle just dead a week
You took your life in front of me
I knew you couldn't live without him

Funeral done
Drinking
Plastered beyond imagining
We cried about Christopher
My brother
Dead and gone
And when I was asleep.....
I miss your laugh
I hate that memory

Arguments of what makes our president
Will be completely irrelevant
Suffering will be our new common ground

In new regime, when this country is bound
There won't be a way to take back the crown
And those who defended
