I am
Putting my heart on pause
Because I am not trying to hurt you
Another man/ woman scorned
To that pandemic
I will not contribute
Therefore I’m putting us on ice
We gone chillax
Let’s see what happens… Alright?
Ya see I have firsthand knowledge
Of things you will never comprehend
Obstacles will arise in life
And bring all you know and love
To a catastrophic end
And I’m moving...
Putting my heart on pause
Because I am not trying to hurt you

Gaia
She is the mother
offering unconditional love
Giving all of herself
for the advancement of us
So many have forgotten
all it is you do
how you
love us
nurture us
supply our water and food
Oh gracious mother earth
Giver to us all
Sorry they disrespect you
And spoil your soil
I apologize for the blood shed
on your sacred land
you must understand
the arrogance
of man
Some are thanking
a god above
others
a god below
never ...

Things I don't know
I am intrigued mostly by the
things I don’t know
Like where do we come from?
Why does the wind blow?
I understand the whole jet stream thing
But where does the notion to blow evolve?
If Einstein is correct what is this fabric space sits on?
My meditation time is spent watching birds
How do they all know to take off
then in unison
all turn left
then all return?
Why do we see some things so clearly?
And to others were just dumb?
When does a religion become a myth?
and
What really makes...
things I don’t know
Like where do we come from?

I am
I am the place,
where your soul yearns to sleep
The spark in your imagination
I am that, which
makes your pen bleed
where you don’t have to tell lies
a vessel to hold your hope
The place where your desires
are never denied
I am the ache
Of dispelled seed
produced for sacred spaces
that are now just swimming around
aimlessly
I am the ego
That ain't here just for kicks
So if half is what your offering
You can truly
Keep that shit

Who trying to get at you?
I told him
“I write as a hobby!
Expressing what I can’t suppress”
He said,
“I’ve seen the things you write in your diary,
you leave that shit laying around,
like everything is up for discussion.
You ain’t got nothing to hide!
Put what you want me to see in my face
Hoping I don’t pry”
“I read the poems you post on that website
Ya indirect hate mail to me
Spewing your one sided truths,
spilling your side of OUR lives
I be reading them comments too!
Seems to be some kinda dialogue ...

Cause Grey Doesn't Exist
You are living in the consequences of your actions
It sounds funny coming from me
To me (SMILING)
I live by the karmic code
“What will be will be” (YUP)
But I’m learning
What I want and what will be?
Maybe two different things (SOME BULLSHIT)
It is the first time in my life
I didn’t get what I felt was due to me (HUH??? WTF)
Due to my realist nature
Seeing the world in black and white
CAUSE GRAY DOESN’T EXIST
But I compromised
Just to get through the night
This left no one better
So were both hurt ...

How is it possible? You don’t know what love is?
I wasn’t raised in a “perfect home”
And maybe that’s why I see it for what it is…
No drawn out discussion is needed to say what it is you feel
You don’t have to sugar coat shit
or
make up elaborate schemes
If you need to walk away I am here to tell you
baby its ok…this wasn’t meant to be
Listen, I understand you’re torn inside…
Unable to walk away from anything
Because of your pride
I get the need to complete something in your life
I can understand how you need something to...

We need to talk
Woke up this morning with you on my mind
I use to wake up consumed with thoughts of u all the time
This morning was different
Didn't even bring on a smile
So much has changed about you
I gotta be honest
We've become what we despise
We no longer communicate
So many one sided debates
Stop sharing our passions
Both putting pen to pad
What we won't articulate
Is this what we've become
Poets who cant speak
Sharing our trials and tribulations online?
What are we? Fucking kids?
Now go...

i notice...
I notice all the little things
The small things others don’t notice
I can clearly see
Eye rolls and posture changes
Hand movements or lack there of
Changes in another’s tone
Or a
Slight difference in their pitch
I catch up on those real quick
I never miss when some sucks their teeth
Or when someone instantly becomes defensive
You know that slight
Clench of their teeth
I can also tell when I am no longer
“In the loop”
Even before it makes a full swoop
So please don’t try to lie
Just to pacify me
I see...
