I Lost You
I think I lost you
Somewhere in the words
We laughed and joked
And said things that were upsurd
I wondered if we were friends
Someone who could
Understand
What I tried to convey
With a pen in my hand
Yes I lost you
And I am ok
The sun still rose
And the rain washed allot away
One day we'll might
Run into each other again
Do not worry
I am still your friend.

Why do you follow me?
Do you know what you do?
You want love unrequited.
You want sorrow, deeper than the ocean's floor.
But there is more here.
More than love,
More than deep sorrow.
There is fire.
I will fan the flames,
try to consume you.
My goal is to make every emotion.

Hangover
Why did I not stay in my bed?
I went out instead
Now I recall why I did not stay
It reminded me of an epitaph of long ago days
I had oh so many
Too much to count
Suffering now
with this damn cotton mouth.
Who said the sun could rise
so bright in here
The last couple of days was
cloudy and fair.
Is your head supposed to beat like that
It was that last mixture of Honey Jack
I think my stomach wants to get in
rather, I want to throw out
What! I don't know.
Why did I shout.
I am just going...
