zeroes
the stillness, the quiet
hand around my heart
dying
but i think
that i can blend right in
no one will notice will they?
outside is all
i have ever been
we are all diseased
and i swear
i slept
in the same house
as the zero
wolf among the sheep
the children
the children
they sipped from
his fingers
one by one by one
by one
cold eyes,sanctified
a soft kill
a gentle death
each and every one
lambs. led to slaughter
by the shepherd
his crook, twisting them in kind
some turning to...

SELF POEM

beverly street
the road began unrolling
to the south
unknown territory
and the promise of a new beginning
only the demons,
the knots upon the inside
gave chase
and i now, i hope to sort them out
the ends, the frayed
have been pulled back in
and like the willow bends
i will rise
every time the wind is stayed
but for now the wind is howling
and i must move with it
using the untamed
and it's power
to awaken a sleeping spirit
feed the cleansing fire
and find the strength in steal
'fore once that metal has been tested
and...
to the south

look to the east
he peeks through my window
by dawn's early light
the heat is what stirs me
awakening the fire in my belly
so burn the skin a little
the spirit ofraa the shadow of ka
and bake hard the mud
unblinking in the heat
respite in winter's cold
the cycle turning through years untold
giving life, and taking it in kind
to long staring at such beauty
and we mortals wander blind
by dawn's early light

jezebel
rattle the chains
and watch me blink
trust unto the jezebel
vinegar drink
a sour taste
and a somewhat sour face
jesus and the jezebel
sprint to set the pace
the prophet speaks
to spin the spell
the sleeper screams
from the spirit sell
now jesus and the jezebel
dripping drunk
jumped into the wishing well
for enough to buy a meal
somewhere near the bottom
they made a deal
so then she taught him
about the baser animal
the meaning of the ritual
the value of the skin
and the temple
he was about to...

then burn the bitch at stake
'tis sad to watch the innocent die
for a sinner's mistake
i cannot
i am not
the judge
but i will light the fire
just to hear the screams
i can paly the exocutioner
though i am not sure what that means
to take a life
to be the fine'

graphically subtle
at this point
could mean trouble
but you are bound to get burned
when you dance
with the devil
the smoke!
smells like flesh
on hot metal
like iron
when it sears
against the skin
her screams
were so loud
twas hard to hear
above the din
can't believe i found her
you should see the way i bound her
like a sacrifice to sin
left along the ground
and shifted all around
and left with a jester's evil grin
at this point
could mean trouble

dreams, dreams, dreams
ghosts, and secret things
flowers dance,
to an archane rhythm
in dreams,
nothing remains hidden
in dreams,
the impossible is sleeping next to me
in dreams
i am never alone
in dreams
home is a place of peace, and protection
in dreams
the family was never broken
in dreams
the truth rolls 'cross the tounge
in dreams
the simple things do not kill
in dreams
only just enough will serve to fill
in dreams

if you can see the earth shake
when you feel the moves i make
when the light grows dim
and you kno the end is near
you have nothing left to fear
some call it rage;
you call it blood lust
but is say ashes to ashes,
and dust to dust
i move with the ease
becoming of the snake
who brings you pain,
who gives you death
i am your reality
your life is in confusion
i have seen your eyes
and the light that dies
with the sound of my gun
ihave seen through my clear confusion
when you feel the moves i make
