When Friend's Share a Bed
when friends share a bed
after all dignity's shred
it's just a place to lay your head
til enough Light's been shed
when friends no longer touch
'cept as psychological crutch
to protect children from abrupt
changes so they dont rush growin up
when friends fail to deal in truth
or turn their eyes from proof
cause they're sheltered by one roof
too exhausted for another move
when friends cling to familiar
settle for something different yet faintly similiar
unaware they erode pillars ...
after all dignity's shred

I've yet
to make an entrance
I need
medical assistance
with my acute feelings of resistance
light
the darkness
of futility
that keeps me sitting upon fences
I see merit
reason
in most any stance
pure evil
being exception
indecision
keeps me glued
a pinned butterfly
a kosher pig in sty
a suffocating
caged Lion
because ...

rampant selflessness
has conjured
a unique selfishness
which crept up on me
insidiously
similar to adipose
following the hormonic
lull
and its ultimate
inevitable
cessation
face it
its a yin correction
of yang
and vice versa

live long enough
consciously
honest enough
to choose regret
over

whole ball of hacks
becomes pretty easy
