Dead to Me
After the funeral
When everyone has gone away
People expect you to get better
They expect you to move on,
They want you to grieve
To cry
To hurt
To keep living
And move on to new love,
Their expectations are just
Society’s socially constructed
Synthetic sympathy,
I am going to cry
But on my own terms,
I am going to grieve
But you needn’t know,
You know nothing of
My pain
My sorrow
I’m sorry I feel too much
Care too much,
My condolences to you
Your feelings have died
But mine are...

MISCELLANEOUS POEM

Fatal Memories
The smoke wafted in
Suffocating the air.
My seat became the hot bud, and the wheel
Became the ashes.
My senses were overcome with
The sensations of a lifeless black lunged body.
As I gasped for breath, the smoke blew me to a dark night
When his clothes reeked of Marlboro and his mouth
Of a freshly lit smoke.
As he hugged me he started to vanish;
Becoming one with the ash and then the tainted air.
I coughed and it cleared,
The blackened lungs lifting.
Suffocating the air.

Blink of an eye
My beloved one died
In the depths of the night.
There were no moons left to cry
And no suns left to fight.
The time had slipped by
Not a care on my mind,
But the moments drag now
And my vision stabbed blind.
How could I have let
The good years go by,
Not a tear shed for you
In the blink of an eye.
But my time now is gone,
It was stolen by night;
I'll not weep in the morning,
Beware I'll fight fright.

f**k mother nature
I want to fuck mother nature,
bring some warmth back to this world.
Let virginity melt the icecaps,
burn the earth as hot as its core.
I want to take you in the cherry fields,
where I'll press you in deep and then pop you.
Let the continents grind together,
earthquakes thrusting pleasure through every pore.
I want you to kiss my garden flowers,
provoke a pollen storm inside.
Let me lick below the equator,
tsunamis cumin' heavy to shore.
I want to suck your earthly juices,
hear the cry of the lions sweet release....
bring some warmth back to this world.

path of dreams
What was once a clear and trodden path
Has all but fallen to the unknown and the ash,
Following the steps that were motherly lain
I learned the ways of the righteous and the sins of the feign,
As a motherly bird you protected the nest
Cuddling innocence, laying fears to rest,
While I near my path of freedom to fly
Do not worry sweet mama your tears I will dry,
One day your chicks will be back in full bloom
Your daughters as brides and your sons as grooms,
Let not your fears overpower your dream
For our love is of that of an everlasting sunbeam,...

Last Words
His soul was drifting to another world
Like a babe in the womb his body lay curled,
His skin like the ocean’s rippled waves
His stomach gaunt after not eating for days,
The color had left his once glowing face
His eyes could not open not even a trace,
His last whispers had faded into words in his head
He was unable to smile at things I had said,
His last night I told him to never stop fighting
And I knew he’d heard me when he tried one last time at smiling,
I had false hope to think he could...

Awe inspiring and bewitching
You have taken my world by storm,
Captivating my heart
This love has come out of nowhere

My heart is unfurnished for like the sun
No residents can reside
I leave my rooms vacant

One Day
This life may only be temporary
But it’s the only place I know
One day when I go to heaven
I will look upon the earth below
The sun will glimmer upon the golden streets
The wind will not reach our cloud ridden feet
My eyes will not shut, nor ever grow tired
My heart will not break from any desire
When I one day reach this heavenly place
I will fall to my knees and praise God’s grace!
But it’s the only place I know
One day when I go to heaven
I will look upon the earth below

Almost Slipped Away
I told him that night not to go,
not to leave me.
He said he’d be back,
as he kissed me goodnight.
His unshaven face was rough against my smooth skin,
while the smell of smoke wafted from his clothes.
Like a newborn babe, I slept and had not a care in the world.
The next morning was routine,
but an ominous spell lay amidst the air.
My anxious mother sighed with wonder, as to why he did not return home.
The phone rang in the midst of our morning preparations.
A storm cloud loomed over our quiet, sheltered home.
My mother anxiously grabbed the...
