I crave an odd type of intimacy others don’t see
Believe me
I just wanna be you.
I wanna indulge
I wanna touch you
Feel you
Caress you
Study you
Tell you how much I enjoy you
It’s always you
When I’m alone I’m not me
As sad as it seems
I want you
I wanna hold you
Touch you
Kiss you
Create a happiness
You’ve never experienced
Believe me
I just wanna be you.

Depths
I wish I was more
I wish we could talk
I wish I could reach a new depth
but sometimes
That depth isn't what you think.
I wanted to know
all of you
the little things
the big things
but I walked home.
I'll explain, this sadness
I fell short of
what you thought I was
I fell short,
of what I thought I was
I was disappointed twice.
I can't go a day
without thinking of you
I know i'm crazy
but I should be invisible to you
I am now
but I wasn't for that time
if I could stay again ...
I wish we could talk
I wish I could reach a new depth
but sometimes
That depth isn't what you think.
I wanted to know

Sometimes I’ll speak to myself

It’ll be fine
Just keep going
Today is just rough
Sometimes it works
Most days it doesn’t
Today I’ve been down
I’ve been sad
Sometimes I miss how I used to be
Before the depression
Before the sadness
Before anxiety
Before I met you

But I’ve also grown a lot because of these things
But I still have my days.

I’ve been alone lately
Not feeling myself lately
Stepping in front of traffic sounds better lately
Traffic.
Imagine heavy traffic
In your mind
Buts it’s not cars and stop lights
It’s more like
The music they’ll play at your funeral
With the thoughts playing their horns
It feels like thorns
Questioning why you were born
Will anyone mourn?
I just wish I could sleep.
Instead I’ll have another drink
Maybe that’ll fix it
In the back of my heavy traffic mind
I know it won’t.
I just wait long enough...

What's it like to feel new?
sometimes I feel blue but that's not new
You left, I had no clue
I thought i was enough for us to stick like glue
maybe it's all in my head
why do i only think when I'm in bed
