Poet Introduction
Wait . . . Poetry? I thought this was a dating site!
sex slave
how can I
in response to a request
of such little magnitude
decline
it is almost a duty
how could I deny anyone
of the joy
of having sex with me
so yes I did sleep with her
even though I'm not attracted to her
after all I'm not selfish
in response to a request
of such little magnitude
decline
it is almost a duty
how could I deny anyone
of the joy
of having sex with me
so yes I did sleep with her
even though I'm not attracted to her
after all I'm not selfish

Smile
Anna smiles at me with her words
But I know her truth
Her pain and joy
So indivisibly interwoven
She tastes of madness, sweat and cheap perfume
She speaks in sex
All can hear
None can compare
But I know her truth
Her pain and joy
So indivisibly interwoven
She tastes of madness, sweat and cheap perfume
She speaks in sex
All can hear
None can compare

Giant
I am sodden, positively
Soggy with irony
I drip with it
And disdain
I am as a mental giant
Or I am surrounded by dwarves
I heard that if you are the smartest
Person in a room, you are in the wrong room
All of the rooms around here are wrong
I feel I need to go somewhere else
Shall you take me home tonight?
Soggy with irony
I drip with it
And disdain
I am as a mental giant
Or I am surrounded by dwarves
I heard that if you are the smartest
Person in a room, you are in the wrong room
All of the rooms around here are wrong
I feel I need to go somewhere else
Shall you take me home tonight?

sole
the word soul is an ugly thing
or perhaps it's just the ones I've seen
and it sounds so lonely
to have a soul
is to have the only one
I've always preferred hearts
even clogged with cholesterol
they give off a certain warmth
and souls you know are really
a dirty kind of fish anyway
stupid words
or perhaps it's just the ones I've seen
and it sounds so lonely
to have a soul
is to have the only one
I've always preferred hearts
even clogged with cholesterol
they give off a certain warmth
and souls you know are really
a dirty kind of fish anyway
stupid words

breaking through
I see the Sun break through the clouds
like some kind of celestial metaphor
maybe things are looking up for me
but wait now the Sun allows me to see
it's raining
this is a shitty metaphor Sun
This Is why nobody likes looking at you
like some kind of celestial metaphor
maybe things are looking up for me
but wait now the Sun allows me to see
it's raining
this is a shitty metaphor Sun
This Is why nobody likes looking at you

If I could
If I could lick the madness
From your skin
Off your face
Like the tear tracked highway
Of pain heading to you heart
Via gravity
And could take it all away,
Would you hate me?
Don't you love your pain?
From your skin
Off your face
Like the tear tracked highway
Of pain heading to you heart
Via gravity
And could take it all away,
Would you hate me?
Don't you love your pain?

Wonderings
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be me
To be Caxton
I'm not, you know
But sometimes I try
And sometimes I am
And sometime he is me
But sometimes he's so much more than me
He is my alter ego
He is my predictor
He is always me before I am
And sometimes I'm not him at all
I wonder how many girls have fallen in love with me and how many with Caxton?
I wonder if I can out do my alter ego
To be Caxton
I'm not, you know
But sometimes I try
And sometimes I am
And sometime he is me
But sometimes he's so much more than me
He is my alter ego
He is my predictor
He is always me before I am
And sometimes I'm not him at all
I wonder how many girls have fallen in love with me and how many with Caxton?
I wonder if I can out do my alter ego

Semi-Sonnet Sex
The voracious I
And collective you
Smile and sigh
As we between two
Sheets of
Silk or sateen
Vigorously make love
Like when I was a teen
And our sweat soaked skin as I slide in
The collective you ( that I'm tearing in two)
Glistening drops falling from your twin
Breasts. I'm a beast it's true.
And my heroic epiphany
Has you on hand and knee
And collective you
Smile and sigh
As we between two
Sheets of
Silk or sateen
Vigorously make love
Like when I was a teen
And our sweat soaked skin as I slide in
The collective you ( that I'm tearing in two)
Glistening drops falling from your twin
Breasts. I'm a beast it's true.
And my heroic epiphany
Has you on hand and knee

I'm so thorny
I lay you on a bed of thorns
The petals I laid with someone else
But your kinky ass
Likes this better anyway
She was sweet like you are sharp
Pull out the whips
Handcuffs
Gag
There was something I had to say about her
But she's not here and you
Damn
The petals I laid with someone else
But your kinky ass
Likes this better anyway
She was sweet like you are sharp
Pull out the whips
Handcuffs
Gag
There was something I had to say about her
But she's not here and you
Damn

Don't be jealous
She used to get jealous of my attentions
And when her cats or nephew showed
That they were fond of me
I know it's not supposed to be
But I found it attractive.
Not the jealousy exactly
But rather the intensity of her emotion
She was alway intense
Alluring and vivacious
And that burning look
Heightened her beauty
But I knew.
So now we're not together
But she sure was electric
And when her cats or nephew showed
That they were fond of me
I know it's not supposed to be
But I found it attractive.
Not the jealousy exactly
But rather the intensity of her emotion
She was alway intense
Alluring and vivacious
And that burning look
Heightened her beauty
But I knew.
So now we're not together

Windswept kiss
My lover sighs
Like the wind off the water
That day at the lake
Where a kiss and a kiss and a dream combined
And hearts entwined like the fingers of our hands
Or her lips' hungry demands
And my heroic lips and curious hands impart
Meaning to our midnight embrace
So ephemeral and sweet
Yet I know that my heart like the sighing
Wind will grow restless and carry on
Like the wind off the water
That day at the lake
Where a kiss and a kiss and a dream combined
And hearts entwined like the fingers of our hands
Or her lips' hungry demands
And my heroic lips and curious hands impart
Meaning to our midnight embrace
So ephemeral and sweet
Yet I know that my heart like the sighing
Wind will grow restless and carry on

the rigors of giving blood
a needle in my vein
i try not to notice
this movie is skipping
i'm less than impressed
they pump something into me
it hurts
they stop quickly
and tell me not to look
but i like to look.
then they try a different vein
but that one doesn't work either
so they call it quits
try again some other day
and this ending
should be the end
but...
i go to a restaurant for lunch
modern Mexican
i go for a burrito
or a taco
but i order ceviche
i've never had it
i like it
and it's not the end
it's...
