Dont come into my space, make sure you leave some room, at least be at arms length, when you hold a broom

Yes we all miss the cuddles, miss a friendly hug, but you cant come and see me, dont show your ugly mug

Lockdown
Lockdown
With the world on lockdown, you got sometime to think, no time for socializing, no where to get a drink.
People going out and meeting, playing in the streets, whilst others risk their lives at work, people dying at their feet.
For me it is quite easy, I'm paralyzed in my bed, I make my freedom, with ideas deep within my head.
I see so many pictures of nurses all in tears, begging us to stay inside, they tell us of their fears.
But it seems that most dont care, they take no heed of the nurses plight, do they have to lose someone...

Angel’s made
The ward has gone silent, for another loved one lost, another Angel’s been made at another families cost.
Taken from their loved ones, the Virus struck again, only tears and memories are now that all remains.
Alone and frightened to face their fates alone, family left just waiting, sitting by their phone
Remembering days long gone they think about the past, wondering if their hug again, or was that hug their last.
Thinking of last moments shared, I pray there was no fight, no chance to say “I’m sorry”, no chance to make...
