I wouldn't really say I'm a poet, but I enjoy writing on my spare time about my past, I was a girl who always had a smile on, but only I knew my smile was fake.

HAPPY
As I take a step outside,
the wind blows,
the leaves shatter,
the sun glows,
the birds chirp,
it feels so good to be back,
for a second everything seemed dark,
I was always blinded by my tears,
my tears blocked me from the sunshine,
I'm glad your out of my life,
I can see clearly now,
the rain and tears are all gone!

COUNTING
Counting raindrops on my window
counting tear drops down my face,
I'm waiting for somebody to come take me from this place
counting the many times I second guessed you,
I remain in pure silence,
I'm blinded by my tears,
my scars are clearly visible,
And all I feel is fear,
I'm dying slowly,
Somebody come and help me,
my heart is pounding,
I feel like I'm counting my last heart beats,
5,4,3,2,1....BREATHE,
That someone finally came.
