Beginning
When he thinks he's alone he's not.
When he wants to isolate him self he disappears.
He has yet to know, his smile shines others worlds.
His laughter brings joy to ones day.
A person who doesn't know the definition of sleep.
But he wakes up each day to grind not for him self but for those he love.
He doesn't want to fail or fall.
He has yet to know he never will.
His ambition stronger than life it's self.
His loyalty stronger than words and actions combined.
He's worthy of all good life brings.
But each time he takes a step forward...

Dignity
The closer I think I get the further it seems...
What am I doing wrong?
What am I missing?
What is it that I'm not seeing?
Or is it because I'm not me?
An epiphany of my dignity.
Finding peace to my sanity.

Reflection
HIM
I knew I broke her down
When all she ever did was love and believe me
I couldn't love her back the same as she loved me
I knew she'd cry herself to sleep
I know I'm selfish
I didn't want to see her happy with anyone else
Because she filled the emptiness in my life
Yet I walked away and gave my love to someone else
I left her behind...broken, to where she didn't want to love again

They say 3 am is the devil’s hour.
Yet here I lay awake late each night
Thinking of you.
I guess it’s the devil whispering in my ears about the feeling of missing you.
I occupy myself each day,
To forget about every lie you’ve told.
To forget about if your intentions were ever genuine.
To forget about the damage you’ve done.
Yet the moment I lay in bed at night,
All the time I shared with you comes back to mind.
Now I’m conflicted if these are the memories I miss, or if these are the feelings the devil whispers into my ears.

Toxic
I always ask myself why people take advantage of me…
I realized, it's cause they only want you when it's beneficial,
yet they speak of your shit that's confidential.
But it's ok cause I ain't nothin like you.
Cause you always come back saying that "I miss you".
Now I'm over here thinking I could trust you, just to prove to me I was a fool.
The friends you like to keep entertained, are the ones who want's to see you fall just the same.
They don't know you like I do.
But I know you wished they did too.
I've seen you fall, I've seen you cry, I've...

Awake
The more I've become awaken and aware of life,
Asking questions about my existence and why god gave me this path.
I've realized that since birth our innocence and awareness of life was pure.
But as we grew we've been blinded,
By the greed, hate and negativity of selfish others.
Imprinted in our minds, that we cannot function without money.
That to live and make it through we must be wealthy.
But what I have riches of, cannot be compared by the wealth of any.
I rather live to end my life with valued riches which money cannot buy,
Than die alone with...

Escape
Sometimes I wish I could escape.
From toxic people.
Be gone and eliminate,
The hate and negativity they bring,
Like snakes, creeping low and penetrating
Poison in your soul, letting the pain sting.
Sometimes I wish I could escape.
From the lies and false ties,
That people make.
Pretending and being fake.
There's barely any real left.
What'd you expect,
When people are incapable to confess.
Mistakes made, but lessons learned.
They say patience is key to growth.
Yet time passes by and many grow older living their lies. ...

Destiny
When you build your own destiny, realize it was meant to be.
You'll make enemies that tends to be and pretend to be your friends,
But really they're temporary.
Envious of your ambition and what you'll grow to be.
They see your progression; leaving an impression.
That replays in their mind, as they waste their time.
To elevate the fact that they'll always fall behind.
As you lay out the facts, your "friends" start to subtract.
Relationships once built, starts to detach.
Your "friends" put up an act.
Like Jenga, each loss begins to stack. ...
