whisper so quiet to be heard
hide away just to be seen
only fear the fear you feel
stay awake to sleep much more

sleep much more to stay awake
feel the fear that you feel
stand in sight to never be seen
scream as loud as you can to never be heard

stop and think
isn't it amazing were alive?

so many moments could be are last
and many of us move to fast

dying a horrible tragedy yes
but never the less
its a blessing to be alive
and survive all there is to survive

from another person or maybe a snake
to even your self or just a small mistake
nothing can prepare you for death
just remember this could be your last breath

its easy to savor the big moments and forget the rest
but savor the small ones too there the best

when i look in the mirror what do i see?
empty eyes starring back at me
i put on a fake smile
that only lasts a short while

sometimes it feels like everything is crumbling
i continue struggling

somehow i never feel right  
i feel i should stay out of site

seems every time i get any confidence
its stolen away
it doesn't stay

seems i get more empty
caring less every day

kinda soulless you see?
just like the eyes starring back at me

some how i like it when its nice and dark
the fear of night isn't in me
like it used to be

sometimes my thoughts turn to a dark side
something i usually hide

i have scares inside that you can't see
and thoughts that i can't set free

but i feel at peace on a nice dark night
more so than when the sun brings its light

nothing wrong with the day
but i just have to say

id rather be alone looking at a deep dark sky
than laying under a bright sun to wonder why

sometimes fear over takes me
or sometimes sadness...
