At the behest of Zeus, she was
created by Hephaestus
blessed with the choicest gifts
the gods could bestow
Bequeathed an earthen amphora
fashioned by an artesian
an ornamental gift
she grew curious
Her finger tips sliding, tracing
the outline of it’s curved walls
enjoying the feel, revelling
in its textures
Irresistibly her tongue tastes
the lip, and like butterfly
wings the lid flutters
The contents are freed

it’s the one that I covet
I’ve got a mind to
make a rhyme ‘cause I love it!
Just want to touch that
broad swathe of muscle
Admire how it moves you
when you’re on the hustle
Hey it might be superficial
but I’m a glutton for the max
It rolls out, extends your hips
stops your knees from going lax
The origins are ‘sacred’, TLF, ilium Inserts onto femur & IT band
Some say your nerve’s inferior
Did they teach you that in church?

Snowflake, thou art uniquely beautiful
I adore you, that much is irrefutable.

and to celebrate
the sense of wonderment
and awe that you create.
You are special and sublime
delicate, fragile, crystalline
Mid air, floating from the sky
I hold you in my mind’s eye
Trace your path gracefully
as you flutter so tastefully.

Let not that gust of wind
