Subterranean Chronicles
i've been fighting this neo demon
for most of my life
my very own energy beast
who will gladly feast
on any negative emotion
i dare to feed it
it simmers in my darkness
waiting..patiently waiting
looking for just a glimmer...a small opening
and it will rip through and devour
me...morsel by morsel
gluttonous..like a giant centipede
siphoning my intestines
eating me alive
exhausting my spiritual reserves
causing me to age in dog years while
trying keep me in that space ...
for most of my life

Dudes be forever
Puttin salt in the game
Tryin to throw dirt on my name
Underestimated from day one
Undermined
Under valued
Unfazed by all the bullshit
The preacher is back in his pulpit
On his task
Speaking truth to power
Like an anti venom vigilante
A latent shaman roaming incognito
In the ghetto
Hiding in plain sight

To this pyramid I'm constructing

Love..is not an issue
Sharing my raw passionate self
I'm cool with that
'cause at the core
I'm a hardcore pragmatist
Armed with firm belief that no matter what
I'll always catch myself
I see what I see
There's no need to call it every time
Just trust my intuition
It all comes to fruition
In due time
Yeah.....I certainly got my own shit
But I'm always in good company

The circumstances life throws at me
I do control the faucet of my soul ...

Exit Strategy Pt 1
Dead on arrival i wake up in an opaque space
With no discernible dimensions..confused
Trying to figure out where I am and remember how I died
Then I hear a sudden 'ahem'
I turn and see that I am standing face to face with god presumably
Feelin a little odd thinking the first time I saw him
I would be in awe of him....but no..that wasn't the case.
He presented himself rather plain in a pair of denim overalls
A plaid shirt a pair of dusty work boots and a straw hat
With a red scarf around his neck...
His skin...

Now hell bent on
Death and destruction
The darkness finally overcame Kal-El
Having a change of heart
After fighting so long for the principles
Of truth and justice
Reciprocated with only lip service
Of lying politicians
Sickened of the hypocrisy of democracies
Waging war after war
After war
For X score years
Turning tears into dust
The man of steel
At last mustered the will
The resolve to become a real
Problem solver
Finally coming to the same conclusions
Artificial Intelligence ...
