PROTECT ME AND MINE
It starts with a rose
no colour just grey tones
meandering down my side
are the words I wear with pride
Protect me and mine
four roses and a vine
a freehand artist
an original design
I will fight until the death
to protect my girls with
my last breath
A mothers love can be scorning
so be careful
my ink heeds a warning.

BATTER UP
The batter steps into the box
all ears are on the call
I take the plate
size her up; Smile
then release the ball
She watches as she steps
with no swing at all
the ump cries out STRIKE ONE!
my catcher returns our ball
STRIKE TWO! was a sly, inside, low
she had swung her bat way below
Smiling I deliver the fatal
STRIKE THREE!
the mighty blow
she swung too slow
they call me the smiling assassin
You know!!
all rounder, MVP, 30 years
I've played ball from age 8
step into the box and
I'll take you at...
all ears are on the call

CELEBRATION
I sat upon your lap
every little given chance
especially when in strife
apparently; I was
too big for my pants!
I was a very 'spirited' child
you never seemed to mind
Nan loved me unconditional
her love for me was blind
I replay my memories of you
whenever I am blue
those memories set me free
my memories of mum and you
It was the safest place on earth
up there upon your knee
we all know I was your favourite
it caused a lot of jealousy
So today it is your birthday
we celebrate every year
although...

STAND PROUD AUSTRALIA
So Jesus had his birthday
Another year nearly worn
It will be easter soon there
Shall be blood upon the thorn
But if the world breaks out in war
Before the year is gone
Tell me Trendsetters
When should we start to mourn?
Are we giving up this Country
Our island gurt by sea
They do not come in peace
you know;
They have different beliefs than
You and me
They are born of war
Taught to kill and hate
They disrespect their females
"Sluts" who deserve the rape
So we let them in to what ---

Hey! I'm Dory
most people say wow
when I enter a room
my presence-
in yo face mofos like
BOOM!
I live my life freely
I've a rather unique
personality,
my humor - just a blast
theres only one speed I know
that's fast!
a rare kind of innocence
so easily led by influence
I'm a knockout by nature
kick my dogs &
I'll hate cha!
A modern day snowhite
but be careful I bite
trust me my friends
truly;
I'm a fucking delight!
like I gotta wear shades
my light shines so bright♡

NARCISSISTIC WHORE
She whored her arse
she did not care
two bastard kids
she did bare
they were mere pawns
in her game of life
she tricked him then
begged to be his wife
She lied, cheated & stole
slept with his friend
self important dirty mole
she kept the secret till
court at the end
her lack of empathy
no-one can defend
Whore should have
swallowed that jism
what a life for a pawn
born amongst narcissism
she did not care

Away from the city
In a small country town
Right up in the cape
A hospital LIES
I went there to nurse
It was my final escape
There was an old lady
Her smile like acid
She was the NUM

again drunk & stoned
A big lazy bully

Survivor
Arriving in such a violent crazy way
gasping for air
A little girl the colour blue
was born one April day
Blue like the bruises my mother wore
walked into a wall again she'd say
It was him, I saw, hating him more and more everyday
years and years of abuse my father and his vices
I couldn't wait to get away
I would leave
Never speak to him I swore 16;
from the fryer to the fire
what a messed up web we weave
Into the arms of a junkie narcissistic prick
the drugs, women, alcohol..
Life in the fast lane!

Dear Universe
I wrote a lil' list of
what I wanted you to be
I thought that it was hocus-pocus
abit of fun and make-believe
you see confiding in the universe
was my escape from reality
Someone who looked like pitbull
only not as rich and famous
we need a pure kind gentle love
but strong enough to tame us
I needed someone to love me
not abuse, control, or hate
So on my lil' list I added
He will be my bestest mate
Many things I wrote upon that list
A man 2 KIND & STRONG
who would never rule us
with his fist, as I

Unicorns are real
Oh dear! the car just stopped dead
no service or a soul anywhere insight
I got plenty of water and smokes
Yippee George just appeared to my right
I thought that she had left me
hadn't heard from her for a while
She doesn't do depression
it's just not her style
every car truck van and bus waved
one lady drove by twice!
You see Trendsetters
people on the cape are so damn nice
I sent a message to Cooktown
hopefully help is on it's way
togs on sprawled across the bonnet 8am
what a beautiful sunny day!
