  Arriving in such a violent crazy way
gasping for air
A little girl the colour blue
was born one April day  
Blue like the bruises my mother wore
walked into a wall again she'd say
It was him, I saw, hating him more and more everyday
years and years of abuse my father and his vices
I couldn't wait to get away
I would leave
Never speak to him I swore 16;
from the fryer to the fire
what a messed up web we weave

Into the arms of a junkie narcissistic prick
the drugs, women, alcohol..
Life in the fast lane!
Go on inject the heroin, Be that chick
the highs, the lows, the comedowns & swift blows
guns to my head when the Ambo's took his high
countless times of saving his life
Why?  Just  WHY?

Normal haha! what is normal I say
Well;
it's a setting on the dryer my dear!
Normal means usual everyday
Its not walking on egg shells or living in fear
It was not a life I chose to live
one with a narcissistic fake
he's always sorry afterward
A pattern, a cycle I had to break
to move forward I had to forgive
To stay would only enable him more
So far nth qld I went to live and
met the man that I adore

Christmas day back in 2012
I vowed and declared as I gasped for air
with his hands around my neck
across the front seat of the commodore
I looked into his eyes
a drug hazed vacant stare was all I saw
I nearly died..
one too many times
I'd had enough, I walked away..
BLOW THIS – NO MORE
I believe in karma
when they meet their makers
  they'll pay for their crimes  

Picking up the pieces of a broken life
as I look back crying with bottled up fear
the choices we make the lesson we learn
A life fuelled by alcohol and gear
a silly young girl broken on the floor in tears
now a woman wise beyond her years
I've since locked the past into a vault
so the memories and secrets cant replay in my head
like a violent assault
