Old to Young
Dear Young Tim,
You're worrying for nothing. There are so many things you can't control, so worrying about them won't change a thing.
Whether you are happy or not is a choice. When you wake up, wake up happy. Make the world convince you that it's a bad day.
Be bolder. If you want to sing, then sing. You get better by practicing. Take lessons when you are young. Learn to play a guitar. Learn to play the piano. Learn to handle money. No matter what you do, money will be important.
Life is short. Do things. Try things. See things.

I have enough money, (me and my wife)
To lead a comfortable middle class life
Even have enough extra money to spare
To take a chance to be a lottery millionaire
So far, not been as lucky as I would have imagined
Catching a break is harder than catching a dragon
To be honest, I never expect to win
But the wheel of fortune only works for those willing to spin

Young Me Versus Old Me
When I was young, I had all this energy and little knowledge. Google didn't exist. I had to rely on my elders for how to do things. Half the time they were worried I'd take their jobs, the other half they would suggest ways that would save my back, or my knees.
I didn't get it. I was a stupid young pup. I did things my way. I lifted things improperly. I worked much harder than I should have. I'm paying for it now.

Smart People Do Stupid Things
When smart people do stupid things
you have no idea what frustration that brings
I mean you expect that out of someone who's dumb
I look up to people with a high IQ
I want to be like them, really I do
but after they screw up it just makes you go numb
I knew an engineer who was in his yard chasing a mole
watched it go down one of it's holes
decided to fill it up with gas and light it for a rodent roast
looking down, guess he didn't figure on the backdraft
anyone that saw it would have had to laugh
his long gray beard and...
