POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I am not a poet, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn express once
Perform a miricle
I pray today, you touch some souls unsuspecting
sinners no doubt, with your love, be infecting
that they would confess, and then bend a knee
through your glorious word, in their hearts they would see
Maybe my family or a friend who's in doubt
the many who can no longer, your love live without
Your mercy, your love and gracious salvation
have them understand that they are your creation
Lord give me your wisdom, make me your vessel
to help some with who, their faith they may wrestle
and if there is someone whose reading these words
I pray...
sinners no doubt, with your love, be infecting
that they would confess, and then bend a knee
through your glorious word, in their hearts they would see
Maybe my family or a friend who's in doubt
the many who can no longer, your love live without
Your mercy, your love and gracious salvation
have them understand that they are your creation
Lord give me your wisdom, make me your vessel
to help some with who, their faith they may wrestle
and if there is someone whose reading these words
I pray...

His final words live for eternity (how about you?)
Not asking to be spared, he hung upon a cross as a storm began to brew
“Father, please forgive them, for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34)
thieves on either side he granted, one, more than just advice
Truly i say today "you will be with Me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:43)
and as the time was nearing, and his work was nearly done
Jesus saw his mother there,"Woman, behold your son.” (John 19:26)
Our sin had come upon him, and now the hour, just around three
He exclaimed,“My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:46)
The people there...
