But you paste yourself on me with an emotionless stare

It never goes away I'm dying inside
Forever wishing I hadn't stayed
Knowing I should have walked away
Hiding my pain through smiles and jokes
While crying alone where no one can poke
Speaking softly with a touch of fear
That even my spirits will steer clear
If only you knew the pain I felt
And the tremor that my body did shake
For you were just another mistake.

Because I sink you survive

Locked into the calm.
Nothing can move you until I am lifted

Rock with every storm
