POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
My words are bare templates upon which you fill in the color, characters, locations, furnishings, clothing, time, and the rest, fleshing them out in both depth and experience. Immerse yourself.
Lathe of Heaven
I tinkered with the lathe of Heaven
its engine burned desire
fashioned form from formlessness
which set my heart afire
a completion of clashing wants
juxtapose to perfection
hair and bone, skin and tone
dressed at my direction
a masterpiece of femininity
an artists crowning prise
I stand in admiration
you're the apple of my eye
its engine burned desire
fashioned form from formlessness
which set my heart afire
a completion of clashing wants
juxtapose to perfection
hair and bone, skin and tone
dressed at my direction
a masterpiece of femininity
an artists crowning prise
I stand in admiration
you're the apple of my eye

Love Zeppelin
Were you ever in love
with an angel from above
ensconced perfectly across from you
and you couldn’t get enough.
Were you ever in love
and the person smiles back
you laugh together easily
and you couldn’t get enough.
Were you ever in love
with an angel from above
forty years of pink champagne
and you could’t get enough.
with an angel from above
ensconced perfectly across from you
and you couldn’t get enough.
Were you ever in love
and the person smiles back
you laugh together easily
and you couldn’t get enough.
Were you ever in love
with an angel from above
forty years of pink champagne
and you could’t get enough.

Reverence
I loved her before I touched her
before I held her hand
before I knew they’d be an end
a cataclysmic last stand
She rearranged perfection
long held within my mind
we lashed our hearts together
with memories as strong as time
then one afternoon a pinnacle
our love became replete
when I held her slender ankles
in my hands
and kissed the bottoms
of her stockinged feet
before I held her hand
before I knew they’d be an end
a cataclysmic last stand
She rearranged perfection
long held within my mind
we lashed our hearts together
with memories as strong as time
then one afternoon a pinnacle
our love became replete
when I held her slender ankles
in my hands
and kissed the bottoms
of her stockinged feet

To Shy To Say I Love You
I’m too shy to tell you that I love you
though I’ve loved you from the moment I saw you
your smile captivates me. I can’t help it, suddenly I’m out of control
I try not to think of you and then I see you
there I go again looking for my breath, all the air is gone
I’m so afraid. If you touched me, I might burst into flames
in your arms I would dissolve
you have no idea what you do to me
how can I tell you of my fantasies
would you even care to...
