Mask of Silence
Hunched, I crawl
among glorious poets
words tumble onto me
I listen
in silence
crows hold court
proclaim me guilty
there is truth
I murdered the Butterfly
her beauty angered me
jealousy raged within
I crucified her
tacked her to my collection
butterflies die around me
beauty frozen on a pin
silence
looms
do not kiss me
or I will kill you too

A serpent of words
I hide in sand castles
then salacious tango music
rings in her angel ears
I grab her
putting my hands
here and there
where they do not belong
she the mermaid has no voice

Dancing
inside the terror of dreams
Symphonies of the masses
gassed as you bleed
Your blood becomes my ink
unwritten is hell's silent scream
carving desires dressed as Satan
each in a chamber of the insane
Timeless all my senseless words

Innocence of the Beast
She seduced my feet
Maria oh my sharia Maria enticed me
down under we meet
she bleeds
I drink her red juices
I am her slave
consumed her ego
and her smoothie
she rewards me
with empathy
and a little mud
She is a black widow
evil to the core
oh I know I know
she leaves a trophy at my door
We are interleaved
in arms of hate
beheaded both
that is our fate

Thank You for the Laughs
Ignorance has been my blessing
insults the protein of my being
I shall dance from now on in my illusions
july mornings are filled with heat and scorn
my friends have sold me in chains
I am blacker than the slave I claimed
If you abuse the human soul
I thank you from the devils heart
there is a new world order coming
one where parents love
and love their offspring
my hate will fade
in a newborn wind
I shall be earth
which will bring
love not mockery
compassion not judgment
kindness not Jehovah's trash ...

Silent Echoes
from distant shores
of civilization
deaf to the tones
no empathy in a snakes belly
I slither across the open field
death is close
if not for the time machine
that saves evil spirits
I offer the virgin an apple
she seems wizened to my ways
lights dimmed
she cuts me in two
I ponder if my musings are also divided
fear envelopes me
as the crowds in the stands cheer
for now I am dead
simple

Slithering go the snakes of Ireland
St Patrick wears his mask and staff
Off he takes the snakes to the sea
Not realizing, he slithers a snake to be
Years have passed, yet they revere
This British snake who in visions appear
After Irish whiskeys are consumed to the end
They praise the vile silent one, on a bender
Sweet words of love drip from his tongue
Forked in follies never to be undone
