Wishing we were more
I hear your voice in my heart
Your eyes made its way
to my memory
I miss our talks when I'm alone
I treasured them like gold
They never get old
I believe all things
happen for a reason
If we were not meant
to be together
Then we were meant to be friends
Someone to talk to
To lend an ear when one is down
A hug to pick us up
I'm a true friend till the end
Wishing we were more I can't pretend

If that someday ever comes
Will there be a place for me
Will there be someone wanting me
And will I know how to find him
Will I have the chance for another start

A Beautiful Place
As I lay here with my eyes closed
Thinking of a place so calm and peaceful
Like the sand beneath my feet
As the cool water surrounds me
Under a beautiful bright full moon
Getting lost in the music the sound
The wind and waves make
A beautiful place to lose yourself
Without a worry or a care

The day we said goodbye

The Day We Met
The day we met
You came when I was in deep despair
I fell into your deep dark eyes
I was without a care
You held me in your arms
I felt safe from harm
You drew me in with your kisses
There was no misses
Direct hit to my heart
Could not wait for it to start
Was overwhelmed with
feelings and emotions
I have not felt in years
You heeled me of my fears
Stopped all my tears
That is a night I will never dare to forget
The exciting day we met

All Started With A Kiss
Sweet words, a kiss.
Sly eyes so full of lies.
Playing a game of hit and miss.
He starts with just a kiss.
He says he loves you and adores you.
You believe and don't resist.
So his game was not a miss.
You heart keeps saying
Runaway, Do not stay,
You go with the flow
Hoping he would take it slow.
When night turns to day.
The romance fades away
And you know you can't stay.
You go home with dismay.
You have to say goodbye to that day.

Running Pig
Screen door shuts
Hear repeated grunts
A pig runs through the house
Is he really chasing that mouse
He chases him here and he chases him there
They even stopped to give each other a glare
Then off they go again
Up and down the stairs
As I watch in dismay
Counting all the repairs I'd have to pay
Not today I say to them
I got the broom and gave them a scram
Out they went
Pig still chasing that mouse
I am just glad they are out of the house

Life is so bitter sweet
You think you know everything
And that your life's complete
Then life takes you for a spin
In a big whirlwind
What you thought you knew
You really didn't know
And disappointment wants to be your friend
But you manage to pick yourself up in the end
Yes life is hard
Show it your in charge
When life lets you down
Don't wear a frown
Fight it with a grin
Cause it's your life
You have to win
You think you know everything

My 1st date it started in fun
Had a few drinks
Then acted so dumb
Not very smart but I was not loose
I found the bathroom to brush my hair
And try to be cute
Fell in the tub and broke my tooth
I was lucky that night to keep my youth
