Relax?
Relax you say
I have no time to rest or play
I work 3-12's
All nights not day
I work all night up on my feet
When I get home I try to eat
And find it very hard to try and sleep
With my tired back and acking head
I cover my windows and go to bed
Alarm goes off so soon at 3
I then get up and cry woest me
Only to restart again to my dismay
If I only had no bills to pay
Relax you say

Moon and Stars shine so bright
Moon and Stars Aligned Just Right
Moon and Stars they are not to fear
Letting us know our love in near
Guiding us to paths unknown
So that we would not be alone
Lighting our way through the mist
So we don't miss our true loves kiss
Hearts entwined and high in flight

When dad decided to leave with another.
You worked and scraped to provide for me, my sisters and brother.
Your need to be free and wanting to flee.
Left us at home and often alone.
I know you did your best without rest.
Leaving us to pick up the mess.
As time put us through the test.
I always felt overwhelmed, mad and sad.
Never feeling that love from a mom or a dad.
I've grown up now and often think back.

A glass of wine you say
Oh I know you want to play
WIne so sweet and crimson red
We drink before we go to bed
Letting that brew go to our heads

I found the love I dreamed to find
While cruzing through a chat room line
He said hi and how are you

My Heart Can Forgive
You've locked the doors
You've locked your heart
Refusing us another start
You know our parting
Lays heavy on my heart with no end
I just think of what might have been
I pour out my feelings you only just grin
Everything I feel
Everything I felt
Is now slowly beginning to
Fade away and melt
Cause you hurt me
My heart was not so strong then
Today I just look then turn away
But I always find the strength to forgive and pray
That you may find what your looking for anyway
