Night Owl
Night Owl
I listen
As you work away
Voice whispering
In my ear
Sultry tones
And a slight lilt
Sending shivers
Down my spine
Images of blue eyes
Staring back at me
As I place my lips
On yours and
Slowly caress your face
As you smile
Just for me
Laying on my bed
Earphones
Held tight
As your laugh
Inspires me to write
About you
For you
As you whisper
'Go to sleep'
But strangely
Too quiet without your words
As the sun begins
to rise ...
I listen
As you work away

On my mind

Still playing in
My memory
Your voice a rumble
Still echoing
Within my soul
I tried to contact you

Instead of nothing

Our timing

I think of you almost everyday
And hope the dreams
You have come to fruition
The memories will fade

Little Bird
Tears are never controlled
As hearts stop beating
But life continues on
And we never stop loving
Never be afraid to speak the words
You know we wish to hear

Escapism
Depression.
Am i depressed?
What is depression!
Having a bad day or true life altering perceptions
That make you feel as if your better off somewhere,
anywhere other than
where you are now?
How do we control these feelings
They overwhelm all other senses
making you feel incompetant
at everything you do,
who you are and
where your going.
Is escapism really that bad?
If we were to just decide to leave,
is it not our choice
when it is
as if nothing
is right for us?
...
Am i depressed?
What is depression!
Having a bad day or true life altering perceptions
That make you feel as if your better off somewhere,
anywhere other than
where you are now?
How do we control these feelings
They overwhelm all other senses
