An Oblivion of Pain
oh my hearts pounding
I'm frantic
I don't know how much longer
I can stand this
waiting for you
waiting for answers
it's eating me alive
like a deadly cancer
what will you say
what will I do
will the answers free us
or demand that we are through
will it drive the pain
so far inside
that I no longer wish to live
to feel alive
I hope you know
no matter which way we go
that all I ever wanted
all I ever needed
was your love
to keep believing
that all this time
that you were mine

Missing me
Oh I miss me
I miss being free
so full of love
my heart
flying high above
looking down
never with a frown
Crying tears of joy
happy as a child
with a new toy
What have I become
can it even be undone
Can I move forward
without looking back
Get my heart beating again
get my life back on track
I have no idea if this is possible
but the idea is sooo irresistible
And for this I take a breath
Because this life and my kids
is all I have left.
I miss being free
so full of love
my heart
flying high above
looking down

Tick Tock
tick tock tick tock
wish that fucking clock
would just stop
Or just speed the fuck up
so I will stop feeling stuck
in this rut
of ruin and despair
where my eyes tear
and my lungs gasp for air
just to look around
and still see your not there!
Time isn't worth living
when you have a soul
who is grieving
a heart that is bruised and beatin
from this fucking clock
that keeps tickin
pulling me in
to its ungodly sin
of forever pain
forever lost
forever forsaken
without hope of awaken
from this tormented...

would just stop

Someone's pawn
I wake up, your not there
and I start to cry
Here is to another day
that will seem to never pass by
Each minute feels like an hour
and days feel like years
And still my heart aches
my eyes flow with endless tears
I don't even know
if you even care
if you was ever, really there
or if I was just a pawn
to help you move on
from the reality you are livin
any reason, can be a given
My faith in love is destroying me
and my mind holds me hostage
my heart lays motionless

You think you know me?
Fuck, I wish I knew me
I wish I could see
there is more to be
than darkness and sadness
that lives in my madness
of my so called life
my heart that is abscessed
from being torn and used
trampled on and bruised
emotionally broken
and abused
So before you think you know me
remember no one does

Slay the Beast
Oh the rain is coming down
pounding all around
threatening to consume me
to slam me to the ground
and rape my soul
as life only knows
as my spirit cries out for release
from this deadly beast
called love, and all its glory
that leaves nothing left
for anyone, sorry
So you can turn around
and walk away
because from this day
there is nothing left here to slay
No more joy to give
no more pain to hold
just a lonely woman
with a heart so cold
pounding all around

A moth without wings
Am I the one that you hold dear?
The one who has you heart
That is torn and in pain
from all these times apart
Like a moth to a flame
am I the one who will have your name
to bear your children
and love like rain
To have the right to touch you
to hold you, to bear no shame
I hope the path has not closed
that are love will continue

A Lost Stone
A lost stone
thrown across a calm lake
has a lasting effect
from the first ripple it makes
It starts out with one hit
but before its over
and reaches its destination
it sinks lower and lower
without hope of revocation.
When someone hurts you for the first time
it will feel like this, trapped inside
like a person who committed a crime.
And it will continue to build
till you wish to no longer feel
the pain of its infection
that is too fowled up
to be disinfected
No matter how hard you try
and how much you...

There goes one you see
one who feels it was never meant to be
another one falls with pain so true
with all the love I gave

for just something more
