One tentative step follows grim stares
Into the abyss
A well of pity, abandoned and empty
Into the abyss
He tosses in the coin and stares deep
Into the abyss

But this time, he feels a disturbance
From deep in the abyss
He is acutely aware- it gazes back
From deep in the abyss
The boy trips, the creature emerges
From deep in the abyss

He's quick to his feet, trudges away
Swallowed by the abyss
His attempts to evade the creature
Swallowed by the abyss
Distraught, he feels the hope and love
Swallowed by the abyss

In the seat I grip the wheel, burning gas moves solid steel
Kill the whales, massacre seals
Oceans blues but hate so black, over your head, a brown paper sack
I tie it shut, kill a seal, listen to my favorite crack
They look at me fearfully, pain so deep the eyes can see
He's dangerous and sadly, free
What's that you say, lock me up? Yours looks half-full, I have no cup
I laugh afterwards but still say wassup
Dug holes, begged,while chasing tail, ill take that watch- its not for sale

Don’t stop and think about it, just do it.’ That’s what I’ve
always been told. Think, plan, do? Identify, consecrate, flabbergast? Where’s
the cowbell, though? Why doesn’t life have a rule book? There’s no
app for that, I don’t think. Think. Stop thinking; thinking is not productive.
Follow the well-beaten path and place one foot in front of the other, all
the while, careful not to examine your surroundings, or take any step off
