Shinning Light
When I live in fright
And the world is wrapped in the darkest night
When the birds have long since taken flight
It is you , you I keep within my sight
My saviour, my sanctuary , my shinning light
And the world is wrapped in the darkest night
When the birds have long since taken flight
It is you , you I keep within my sight
My saviour, my sanctuary , my shinning light

What Remains
I’m not really worth mentioning
Just a glitter on your cheek
That some soft hand brushes away
Like the ocean upon the sand
You’ll watch it glimmer in the light
A dying star
Wishes that fade to dust
You’ll both smile
How did that get there?
Let it fade
When your alone
Those fingers sweep
Brushstrokes
From that cheek to your lips
I was there
And there
This is all that remains
Just a glitter on your cheek
That some soft hand brushes away
Like the ocean upon the sand
You’ll watch it glimmer in the light
A dying star
Wishes that fade to dust
You’ll both smile
How did that get there?
Let it fade
When your alone
Those fingers sweep
Brushstrokes
From that cheek to your lips
I was there
And there
This is all that remains

His Story - Part 3
Tattered
Torn
Take them!
All those tempest dreams
Your lips, my name
Since then…
Your ink forms crosses
Stitches over your heart
Kisses faded
Beneath your fingertips
You’ve locked away yourself
Where no one can touch that fire
Without feeling burnt
A lock made strong like scars over skin
A key crafted from the silver in your eyes
Cast out to the sea
When it’s found
I hope they love you
Like you loved me
(See Part 1 and 2)

His Story - Part 2
I remember those aqua eyes
How they were as green as moss
Then you cried
Out all your fears to me
I cradled your heart closer to me
Knowing all it’s complexity
How could it possibly be mine? I
feel torn unable to carry the burden
When another heart
Feather light
Caught my attention
My neglect caused you to fall away
All the pieces of you
Sharp, raw, exposed
Cut into me as I tried
I didn’t try hard enough
For you
Left you lying there
Wrapped up in you all consuming despair
I couldn’t bare to see
That gleaming...
How they were as green as moss
Then you cried
Out all your fears to me
I cradled your heart closer to me
Knowing all it’s complexity
How could it possibly be mine? I

His Story - Part 1
When I first spied
Your too large heart
As it trembled in the in between
The light and dark
It’s flickering flame
Shone that rosy warmth upon your face
I desired to help you share the weight
Gently…
Oh, so softly I kindle that flame
Persuade it to glow
Just enough do you can see me in the shadows
When that time came
That you placed your heart
From your own delicate hands to mine
I held it so tender
Like a new born babe
It left me in awe of you
It warmed me
Weighed me down
Far more beautiful
Than I ever...

Reunion
(Sequal to Scarlet)
He has waited
Every step she has taken
Is a slow falling grain of sand
Through this unrelenting hourglass
Each rise and fall of her breathing
Is the changing of the tide
Every night she falls into the sanctuary of slumber
Another torturous moon has gone by
His heart strings are stretched out
Fine tuned for her playing
This cruel game they yield to
A visage of a vindictive villain
To the virtuous victim
To come to this long awaited surrender
This little doe has relinquished
Her burden of power...
He has waited
Every step she has taken

Scarlet
She’s walking the ancient paths
Stained into the palms of her hands
Echoing lifetimes past
Cobbled with autumnal leaves
That mirror the colour of her hair
She knows too well her feet have betrayed her
Leading her back the Touble’s door once again
The trees breathe her name
They never forget
The child that had stumbled
In this sure footed woman’s place
A wind stirs the pages of her mind
To times left buried in doubt
She crosses her arms over
Like a fallen warrior
Wrapping the scarlet shroud closer
The velvet as red as blood...

Nana's Lullaby
Nana
This is your lullaby
A dream ago I held you in the cradle of my arms
From the sky I hung you stars
Your eyes like the galaxy
Hold unfathomable possibilities
I stroked your soft raven feather hair
If only while I sleep I am here
In our serenity I can feel the warmth of your copper skin
As I trace your delicate little dimplesT
hose perfect sea-shell ears
I know that you are mine
As you fall into a peaceful slumber
I whisper you fairytales of worlds far from my reach
They are at your fingertips
Tonight you are mine little...

Wishes
I'm fumbling, clinging,
Desperately grasping,
My straining fingers gripping fabric,
Leaving halfmoons in my palms,
When all I want is to hold your hand.
I curl back into sheets, into myself,
I curl, and curl, and curl,
Wishing I was wrapping myself round your finger,
Just to bring us that inch together.
I press my lips to the rain,
In rememberance of your kiss,
Sweet and delicate,
The rain cries for you too.
Sometimes I just close my eyes,
Listen to the music,Of my hand over heart,
The gentle drum, only way to feel...

Matchbox Fantasy
This skin is burning through itself
These fingers are forming
Ancient webs of lace between them
Your finger against my lips
Halt the tiny seamstresses from there intricate work
To sew together these trembling rubies
These are the delicate thread bars
I must serve my silent sentence behind
It no longer matters
I am already tongue tied
In the absence of sound
My heart opens up on itself
The key lies in your hand
Wind it up
This strange engine
My clockwork heart
Open it up like an old music box
And it will speak a...
