POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Cutting Ties
C onsumed by guilt, no end in sight
U nder pressure, to make things right
T edious nights, spent trying to fix you
T hough you were the one, to miss your cue
I fell into hell, you wouldn’t pull me through
N ever again, would I learn to love
G iving you up, was a curse from above
T ime would tell of this journey undergone
I ndulged in scars, you neglected to mourn
E veryone says, we will fall together
S evered relief, mourned forever
U nder pressure, to make things right
T edious nights, spent trying to fix you
T hough you were the one, to miss your cue
I fell into hell, you wouldn’t pull me through
N ever again, would I learn to love
G iving you up, was a curse from above
T ime would tell of this journey undergone
I ndulged in scars, you neglected to mourn
E veryone says, we will fall together
S evered relief, mourned forever

Reasons Hurt
R eeling from nothing, what do you expect
E verything’s something, in my head it’s kept
A reason for
some, a burden to many
S uicidal relief, a device too heavy
O n with life, lacking a cause
N ext is hell, in all its bloody shores
S omething you wish, could all be yours
H ardly a soul, to wonder with me ‘why?’
U pkeep of our mind, too daring to pry
R etreat would be bliss, but I hate to say
T he price of the latter, too much to pay
E verything’s something, in my head it’s kept
A reason for
some, a burden to many
S uicidal relief, a device too heavy
O n with life, lacking a cause
N ext is hell, in all its bloody shores
S omething you wish, could all be yours
H ardly a soul, to wonder with me ‘why?’
U pkeep of our mind, too daring to pry
R etreat would be bliss, but I hate to say
T he price of the latter, too much to pay

Dying Inside
D isturbed, disrupted, no end in sight
Y our pain and misery, no will to fight
I nside your heart, inside your mind
N o one will see, and accept your kind
G iving up hope, true love was blind
I n time they will learn, to look but never listen
N o one ever thought, your memory would glisten
S o many years, spent lost in your mind
I f only you awoke, to the stars aligned
D eath is imminent, but yet to be seen
E vil succumbed, to escape all you’ve been
Y our pain and misery, no will to fight
I nside your heart, inside your mind
N o one will see, and accept your kind
G iving up hope, true love was blind
I n time they will learn, to look but never listen
N o one ever thought, your memory would glisten
S o many years, spent lost in your mind
I f only you awoke, to the stars aligned
D eath is imminent, but yet to be seen
E vil succumbed, to escape all you’ve been
