As A Matter Of Fact Or Fiction
My love swirls round the toilet bowl
Within a ribbed prison of latex control
Because you dont want more hungry offspring
And Im not keen to catch your fiery sting
But the loneliness of abstinence
Is crushing twice once common sense
Taking refuge in our convenient exchange
Knowing the shot confined falls out of range
Exhaustion finds us both asleep
And morning blinds the time we keep
The day drags on with unending guilt
For desires to fill them with more passion spilt
To flush each thought of mistaken...

On the Outside
Another fast train took you for a ride
Made your heart beat faster every time he lied
He really had his shit together
On the outside
Why trust men with a world of lies to hide?
My soul has shivered every time you've cried
But still you've always left me
On the outside
Baubles are pretty but merely tricks to be tried
They are traps set for you to fall inside
Superficial glitter only makes you pretty
On the outside
A man can't give you what he hasn't got inside
And you can't quench your thirst from an empty cup ...
Made your heart beat faster every time he lied
He really had his shit together
On the outside
Why trust men with a world of lies to hide?
My soul has shivered every time you've cried
But still you've always left me
On the outside

Artists Are Lonely
Artists are lonely
We've been known to go insane
We feel so much our hearts confuse the brain
Minds clogged up without a place to drain
Accepted only if we entertain
Artists have talent
Which all too often is abused
Laugh all you want but I'm un-amused
When money and emotions are fused
My abilities are better left unused
Artists are happy
In the worlds that we create
In my world I reshape the shapes I hate
Where greed and pride cannot penetrate
Where colors aren't forced to segregate
We've been known to go insane
We feel so much our hearts confuse the brain
Minds clogged up without a place to drain
Accepted only if we entertain
Artists have talent
Which all too often is abused
Laugh all you want but I'm un-amused
When money and emotions are fused
My abilities are better left unused
Artists are happy

In my world I reshape the shapes I hate
Where greed and pride cannot penetrate
Where colors aren't forced to segregate

Against The Tides
Enough with girls who pretend
I want true love and nothing less
More than just a beneficial friend
Who I don't have to second guess
To fill a life with more than fun
Who wants a man to fill hers too
Two for serious one on one
Not a buddy for a weekend screw
I don't want a sexual slave
To follow submissive sets of rules
I'm not a king, it's love that I crave
Not a crown of tarnished jewels
No intruders on the side
Equal partners in all we do
She must hold her own against the tides
And be willing to hold...

This Dream I Dreamt Last Night
When I awoke this day I was not proud
My heart wrapped within a bloodied shroud
The image of his face burned into the cloth
Like a vision from in the mind of a Visigoth
I think the devil slipped past my sleep
Or just dread from my mind adeep
Taunting me like a matador with his red pelisse
Telling me that there is no such thing as peace
Claimed I was nothing but a common fool
Fooled by liberals to be their wrong wing tool
Said to me with breath of fire I'm un-American
Called me a coward, accused me not a man
He so boldly challenged...

Do Not Die For Me
Do not die for me
I will not kill for you
Do not die for me
You should never have a reason to
I will not kill for you
Why is that so hard to understand?
So do not die for me
Your blood is not welcome on my hands
What price salvation, Lord?
These things that man will do
But to take a human life
There should never be a reason to
What price salvation, God?
That another man should die for me
And save the lives, with guns and bombs
Of the suppressed who would be free
Do not Die for me
I will not die for you...
I will not kill for you
Do not die for me
You should never have a reason to
I will not kill for you
Why is that so hard to understand?
So do not die for me
Your blood is not welcome on my hands
What price salvation, Lord?
These things that man will do
But to take a human life
There should never be a reason to
What price salvation, God?

Do not Die for me
I will not die for you...

The One On My Shoulder
He whispers in my ear of all he'll give to me
How Hell is not so bad, how he will set me free
He tells me his truth has the golden touch
He gives me a choice, says it won't cost too much
Just my soul, he tells "I have none, never needed one
Death is better than life, an eternity of fun
I will not listen to him or his tempting lies
I pray for the haunting day that he up and dies
Although he wants to take me down with him
Where all lost souls cry, my fate is not so grim
For he has no soul to be cleansed of its sins
While mine has hope...
How Hell is not so bad, how he will set me free
He tells me his truth has the golden touch
He gives me a choice, says it won't cost too much
Just my soul, he tells "I have none, never needed one
Death is better than life, an eternity of fun

While mine has hope...

The color of my tie
And the color of my skin
Won't alter what I know
Or change who I am within
Taste your own medicine
It's the same thing that you do
Maybe you'll figure out
Why everyone leaves you
Look beyond your mirror
At the face behind the glass
Inside you are inferior
You need more God than Sunday mass
Each time that you reflect
The cancer in you has grown
Do you still wonder why
You are always left alone?
See with wiser eyes
If your eyes are all you...
And the color of my skin
Won't alter what I know
Or change who I am within
Taste your own medicine
It's the same thing that you do
Maybe you'll figure out
Why everyone leaves you
Look beyond your mirror
At the face behind the glass
Inside you are inferior
You need more God than Sunday mass
Each time that you reflect
The cancer in you has grown
Do you still wonder why
You are always left alone?
See with wiser eyes
If your eyes are all you...
