All was perfect and all was loved until he used her. Now they don't speak and he's a jerk. She cries herself to sleep at night he dreams of his perfect life with the new girl he loves. Some say, you can still see
The pain in her eyes
Even after all these years
She's been dead for so long
Her expression remains the same
As the day he killed her
The bruises still stain
Her beautifully pale skin
The crimson red river

Lost Relationships
Tears roll down my cheeks
As I think about us
It was only two weeks,
But that was more than enough
I fell for you hard
And you picked me up gently
The day you uttered painful words
I broke into pieces
I was falling in love
I'm sure you could tell
I was different than the others
"too good" for you, maybe?
You dropped me off,
Back into the friend zone
Some say it's because you care
Because you care too much?
I am no longer yours
I cannot call you my boyfriend

The Media's Rules
A static lullaby
From the mouths of drones
Us children today,
Practice what we see on TV.
We smoke, we drink
We do what's "cool"
It's sad to know,
We live by media rules
We starve ourselves,
Get pregnant at 16
Wear pounds if make up
To be like the stars
Unaware of who we are
We walk the streets
We lie, we steal
Hoping we'll be seen
Stardom is our youth's desire
Freedom is forgotten
If we are the future,
