ANGER POEM

Rage
An overboiling kettle,
Scalding metal,
Molten lava melting all it touches,
Don't fucking touch me,
for the love of God please.
As rage rushes like Vesuvius,
Let it all pour out my love.
Grandiose power drawn from roman deities,
Psychosis in the melancholy,
Pain and love my dichotomy.
A sharp inhale, clutching at air
"I can't breathe"
Scared i'll drown in my own fury.
They can see what they are doing,
Polluting the essence of your being
Yet watch me disregard the intuitive
feelings...
Scalding metal,

My heart
I scoop the shattered pieces between my hands.
Little shards sometimes snap and penetrate into the gaps between my fingers as I kneel on the floor.
I've performed the task many times before but it's easy to lose fragments amongst the dirt and debris.
I work carefully, every piece missing is a sliver lost in me.
Impossible to fix perfectly, but kindness and sunlight, and being alone for some time, it won't be the same design but it should work alright.
I'll still try.
