POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I loved poetry once I found I could use it to express myself. I use it to put out my feelings without judgment. I used it as therapy. I use it to bring new visions to others. Words are powerful, words have weight, no matter the words but how they're used.
Gone
A monotone path
Is the one I tread.
No tears can well
So they may shed.
A scream building
In my throat.
No love to bloom
In my stone cold heart.
For none could accept
The rose that choked
Their atmosphere.
Hopes never held high
For my heaven comes
Crashing down.
I dug my way out of hell,
I never rose from
The ashes.
I'm gone.
Save me,
Save me from these depths
I live in
Which I will never reveal.
Just save me...
please,
I'm gone.
Is the one I tread.
No tears can well
So they may shed.
A scream building
In my throat.
No love to bloom
In my stone cold heart.
For none could accept
The rose that choked
Their atmosphere.
Hopes never held high
For my heaven comes
Crashing down.
I dug my way out of hell,
I never rose from
The ashes.
I'm gone.
Save me,
Save me from these depths
I live in
Which I will never reveal.
Just save me...
please,
I'm gone.

The Last
Eyelids close.
Darkness surrounds.
A cold winter chill
Courses through
My spine.
Small white flakes
Land in long hair,
Then melt
Among the warmth.
Eyes of green
Glisten beneath
A starry evening sky.
They move closer
Then disappear,
As heat wraps
Around my waist
And dances
Across my lips.
The love surrounds me
Then leaves,
Slipping through
My cold fingers.
Little did I know
It was the last,
The last moment
And the beginning
Of a haunting
Memory.
Darkness surrounds.
A cold winter chill
Courses through
My spine.
Small white flakes
Land in long hair,
Then melt
Among the warmth.
Eyes of green
Glisten beneath
A starry evening sky.
They move closer
Then disappear,
As heat wraps
Around my waist
And dances
Across my lips.
The love surrounds me
Then leaves,
Slipping through
My cold fingers.
Little did I know
It was the last,
The last moment
And the beginning
Of a haunting
Memory.

Inspiration
Words encase
My hungry eyes,
Revealing portals
To worlds designed
By the creator's mind.
Just as dreams
Can be controlled,
A new world of mine
Can unfold.
With skies of purple and blue
And flowers that glow
When they bloom,
I'm in charge of
This world of mine.
I create these words
That intertwine in
Beautiful design,
Inspired by those
Pages that always
Flip through my mind.
My hungry eyes,
Revealing portals
To worlds designed
By the creator's mind.
Just as dreams
Can be controlled,
A new world of mine
Can unfold.
With skies of purple and blue
And flowers that glow
When they bloom,
I'm in charge of
This world of mine.
I create these words
That intertwine in
Beautiful design,
Inspired by those
Pages that always
Flip through my mind.

Lying and Living
Taking selfish reins of his life.
Control is key,
Understand yourself
And know God as a friend.
One weakness wraps the collar around his neck.
A fragile heart with the ability,
To crush a control
Such as himself.
Bored with life,
She takes his own.
She covers her being with a façade.
Hot tears stream down
Her delicate cheeks
For she realizes
Without her leash
The world merely
Accepts her as a fool,
A beautiful little fool.

One weakness wraps the collar around his neck.

Let Go
Of all the resentment,
Of all the pain,
Of all the time
I never gained.
I look up to this sky tonight
To see new light
Shine upon me
So bright.
To feel free,
To feel loved
By only me.
To let go and not hold back,
To receive the emotion
I lack.
I control this life live,
It is my choice to give.
I remove this silver string
Which once meant purity,
Now resembling my immaturity.
On this night I let go,
On this night I break free!
I no longer resent,
I no longer resist.
I am me, ...
Of all the pain,
Of all the time
I never gained.
I look up to this sky tonight
To see new light
Shine upon me
So bright.
To feel free,
To feel loved
By only me.
To let go and not hold back,

I no longer resent,
I no longer resist.
I am me, ...

Heart of the Ocean
The screams
Intertwined with
Tunes of violin.
In desperate escape
From powerful waves,
Two lovers
Take their feat
In search of life together,
As people calm
In the face of death.
The lovers safe
But not for long.
On one piece of wood
Lies the destiny of
Their future.
One survives
In icy despair,
But with a promise
To survive.
The blue heart
Now resting in the ocean
In ever remembrance
Of the sinking night,
As the heart of the ocean
Moves on.
Intertwined with
Tunes of violin.
In desperate escape
From powerful waves,
Two lovers
Take their feat
In search of life together,
As people calm
In the face of death.
The lovers safe
But not for long.

Of the sinking night,
As the heart of the ocean
Moves on.

Bio-War
When the sky
Takes on
The dark night
The screams echo
Among the walls
Of decaying plaster
And stone.
A building abandoned
Now contains
Our possible future.
Humans become animals,
The shedding of
Blood and flesh
Become a way of life.
Agony howls from
Lost children.
People watch in terror
Of what lies before
Their eyes.
These talented people
Sending a message
Of our future,
And what humanity is
capable of.
We look ahead
To Bio-War.

Escape Artist
Walking among a wood
Of words,
I walk freely.
Take me away
From this little town,
And bring me to
Greater things.
Spinning in circles,
Erasing the past
From my mind.
I grow wise
From these old tales,
Experiencing life
Without living.
The mind of an adult
In the body of a child.
Hours swing by
Without recognition,
For I feel this
Is now my home.
Walking among a wood
Of words,
I escape the harsh reality.
The best of them all,
Unafraid to start
The next journey.
Of words,
I walk freely.
Take me away
From this little town,
And bring me to
Greater things.
Spinning in circles,
Erasing the past
From my mind.
I grow wise
From these old tales,
Experiencing life

In the body of a child.

I escape the harsh reality.
The best of them all,
Unafraid to start
The next journey.

Don't Care
There you stand
Across from me,
With your jaw dropped
And your eyes
Awake in disbelief.
While I simply
Look at you,
With no expression
And arms crossed.
You hurt me,
And I hurt you,
Simple as that.
So let’s be
Adults here,
Because frankly,
I don’t care.
Across from me,
With your jaw dropped
And your eyes
Awake in disbelief.
While I simply
Look at you,
With no expression
And arms crossed.
You hurt me,
And I hurt you,
Simple as that.
So let’s be
Adults here,
Because frankly,
I don’t care.
