Wow....(and I Wonder)
.....what is the blunder that I have committed? What was the crime?
What was a simple intention, not to mention that I think the poet is sublime. She blocks my intention and now my rhyme is out of time.
That really kind of hurts. It really kind of stings. You have a right to do what you will. In retrospect, I ask only one thing.
Can you please find it in your heart to tell me what I did wrong? I meant no disrespect to you. Please don't let this be some sort of "Swan Song" and our acquaintance long gone

the soul
for I am dying

the universe in it's anonymity
opens it's doors,
heeding the call......we all must go
my days grow shorter
and I grow less and less afraid
in the fleeting moments
of this life and time we share
