The Secret Door
The secret door
Cannot be sought
Only found.
Cannot be wanted
Only needed.
The secret door
Can only be seen
By tempered eyes,
By make believers.
Believers in the fantastical.
It is found in a grandmothers home.
It is shown in cupboards.
On empty walls.
On tables.
In attics.
Spy it here.
Spy it there.
Spy it very nearly anywhere.
The secret door
Cannot be defended
Only protected.
Find it in a school.
Find it in a garden.
Find it anywhere you can.
Find it best of all.
In winter days
Or when...
Cannot be sought
Only found.
Cannot be wanted
